Hello All! I am here is Farmville, VA. Home of the Wonderful Hampton Sydney College and Longwood University! I am a stay at home mom that sweeps every moment i get. I have two children that is the ages of two and eight. My wonderful husband works as a equipment operator, works long hours and never enough sleep! Anybody here close to me? I am looking for a couple of friends that enjoy sweeping as much as i do , and is a stay at home mom too! Maybe we can trade stories about our wonderful wins! That, I'm still waiting on. LOL!!!!!!!

By the way, if any of you come into town, please stop in at Pino's Pizza. Its a wonderful place to eat and the best pizza around. No, i dont work their, I just eat their alot! We also have a great Applebee's here too!

Yes, Debbie, I know exactly where Eagle Rock is. We go by there when we go back and forth to Roanoke all the time. I know about where you live in Goochland also cause I used to stop at a gas station through there all the time when traveling to or from Hampton.

And Tignor, Stephanie, that was so nice of you to say I was nice. You are too! :smile7:
We still should get together some day. It's hard for me when I'm over in Roanoke though cause I usually have a family member with me that wouldn't want to stop and meet another sweeper. :confused: I just don't understand why they don't understand. LOL! I will have to make a point of it though very soon in the spring for us to at least do lunch.

Hi everyone. Ret to the rescue! LOL I host a new club in Virginia Beach called the "Virginia Beach Prize Patrol". So far we are a small fun group and everyone is welcome to join. Unfortunately I broke my leg Jan. 24th so there won't be a meeting in Feb. but we will have one in the middle of March. Anyone wishing to join can contact me by email for the time and date or just to chat. We are a very flexible group and can adjust our meeting days to accomodate new members. If you are interested, just let me know whether you prefer to meet on a weekday or weekend so I can set a date for the next meeting. Sweeping is wonderful but sweeping friends make it the ultimate.

Hi!!! I live in Yorktown by the battlefield. I have a 15 mo son so going to a meeting/reunion is hard for me. If I bring him he doesn't sit still lone enough for me to have a conversation with anyone, if I don't bring him I have to work it out with my hublet. There is NO and I mean absolutely NO temp daycare in the area (Mom's day out type stuff). I will be there in spirit!
