the official "I have too much clutter" group!

yes, I am a clutter queen. I can't bring myself to throw things away. And then, every time I do, I buy something else! lol

I need to find a way to organize/ get rid of stuff.
Anyone else out there suffering from this problem?:offwall:

Me! I hate clutter more and more as I get older and I am trying to thin it out more than ever. I have been donating to charity, listing on eBay, listing on craigslist, and getting boxes of stuff ready for the annual big spring neighborhood yard sale weekend in May. I have also been selling books; when they are piled to the ceiling on top of the bookshelf it is time to clean out! There is a thread here about selling you books online that has great advice. I keep a master list of the ISBN codes saved as a word document and at least once a week check them at Powell's http://www.powells.com/sys/obb/customer/main.cgi to see what they are buying that week. I also check http://bookscouter.com/ for the nicer books to see who will pay the most for a book. I love that these places pay shipping, I just box up the books, put on the printed postage label, and drop it off at the post office. I have sold over $100 worth of books this past month, all deposited into my paypal account :yay:

ugh me too. My room is a mess right now, not dirty, just unorganized and little piles of clutter. It's so hard for me to keep the clutter away. My room stays clean for a very short amount of time :bhead:

I have this problem mostly from sweeping. I win 2nd place prizes when I wanted the grand prize. I don't need or want the item and I am not sure who to give it to so it sits and waits for a home. I really like trading items I don't want for other items I do want so I don't donate them right away. Trouble is the trades don't happen as much as I would like. Either no one wants it or I don't want what someone has in trade.
