I would like to know if there are any DOOL fans here that are also sweepers on this board? I have been a fan for 23 years, faithfully watching actors come and go, and I would like to know your opinons on who you think the Salem Stalker is? I am guessing it is Sammi Brady or Marlena Evans or Hattie, especially after seeing Maggie draw the "eyes" :smile9:

I will miss Jack :cry2: , and I heard that Tony is leaving also, and I hope that Stephano returns, as it's not the same since he left.

I hope to see some more DAYS fans here, maybe we can chit-chat about this show, do polls, etc...I think this would be fun and interesting :smile9:

All three of my daughters and myself are Days/Passions fans. I have been watching Days just about my whole life as Mom and step mom were both fans so summer, holidays, days off etc, I saw the show.

Been a long time since the show made me cry but when Jen lost Jack I admit I cried.

As far as the stalker, I honestly don't know, but I don't think it is any of the "usual suspects" as they are making us all believe. I think it will turn out to be someone that no one actually suspects.

Abe, Jack, Tony, Maggie, Caroline and Cassie are ones that I know have been let go from the show. I have been watching this show since it began. (actually I was only two so I watched with my mom) I am not real thrilled with the shows decision to let some of the main essential characters go. I am also one of the people who couldn't stand the possessed Marlena episodes. I know one thing......If JOHN BLACK ever goes...I am outta here!!

I have been a die hard fan ever since junior high ( not going to tell you how long ago that was ) but after they broke up Carrie and Austin (again) and she went away with Mike I only started watching it sporadically. Then they brought back Jack and Jennifer and reeled me back in and now Jack is gone so I am back to watching it off and on again. :sob: :cry2:

I ran home every day in sixth grade, because I had to cover 3/4 of a mile in 10 minutes between the final bell and the start of Days. In middle school, I had a contest with a friend to see who could get the most signatures from the Days actors. Of course, now that I'm grown up I am usually stuck watching the Rugrats or Rolie Polie Olie. Haven't seen an episode of Days in I don't know how long...

I just can't figure out who the killer is. Maybe Marlena? I'm so sad that they are killing off so many long standing characters. Why do they have to be killed? Can't they just go away? Jack can never come back? I think the motive behind the killings is hidden. I don't think it's the obvious reasons that they are throwing out there. The suspense is killing me......no pun intended. :)

I'm not sure who the killer could be. I sort of wish it was Sammy, just because she's the most annoying character on the show. Maybe it's Brandon since he couldn't be found for Abe's funeral. All I know is I'll be glued to the TV waiting to find out.

Let me just say that sucks! I didnt know they had actually let the actors go who play Abe, Jack, Caroline, Maggie, Tony Cassie. I had delusions that Jack was in hiding looking for the kill. But I know his organs were donated, but it is a soap after all.

Cassie can go. I dont find that her character is supporting anything. As for the bad guy. Its easy to say Rex. I think its the usual Stefano. I always thought it was great how this show did anniversary shows and many previous characters came back. It doesnt seem likely since they are performing this lynching of so many primary actors. How very corporate of them. Are there new writers or something?

And may I add that having the actress who played Kayla come back as Mimi's useless mom, really doesnt work for me. Anyone else.

One last thing will Sami and Lucas just go ahead and do it!

I watched Days for many years since I found out I was named after one of the characters ( Julie as in Doug and Julie) now I have switched to BnB and Young. The woman playing Mimi's mom wasn't Kayla, she was Patch's sister Adrienne. I don't like the role she is playing now at all!

I have no idea who the killer is, but am quite unhappy so many main characters are being "killed off" by him or her.

I personally do not want to see Stefano return, I much prefer Tony.

Bo and Hope have always been my favorite "super couple" on Days and probably always will be. Who's yours?

LOL, that's a VERY good question! I hadn't realized that all of the characters being written out of the show were going to be victims of the killer.

I try to watch DOOL every day but have been really disappointed that they are writting off such good, long standing characters. I could not believe they wrote off Jack and Abe.
I think the killer is either Stephano or Rex programed to do it for Stephano. We already know Stephano is back around.

I've been watching Days since I was 14. I don't watch it much in the summer but have been able to see the show a little here and there. I suppose the stalker could be someones evil twin, just like Kristens twin was in the last stalker series.

I've been watching DOOL for MANY years!!! I'm also into "Passions" which I really enjoy although it's so predictible...I'm still glued to the set.

As for the stalker, I think it may be Cassie. Time will tell...

I began watching DOOL with my mom probably about 38 years ago. Must be from the very beginning.

Without VCRs, I only watched it sporadically, same in college, and as a working woman. In the mid-80s, I taped it every day for a couple of years and exercised at night while watching the tape.

Now days I just watch it when I have a day off from work (like today, whoopee! Federal holiday), but I still try to keep up.

I think it's either Marlena or rather Hattie, because they ended the hattie thing abruptly or possibly John (a stephano programming thing?) If you remember, right before Abe was killed he smiled and looked happy to see whoever it was before he was shot. I don't think he would've acted that way with any of the suspects. Maggie also "felt safe" and happy to see the person that killed her. I definately think Stephano is linked to it. Besides the obvious conversations Tony has with him, everytime they show the killers eyes you hear the Pheonix cry. I miss Stefano, although the spoiler sites state they have no plans to bring him back.

First of all I am very upset that they are getting rid of the long time cast members! I am 36 and started to watch when I was 5 with my mom.
Yesterday they found Carolines fingerprints on the bottle that killed maggie, They do not have alchol in there house because maggie was an alcholic! So i think the bottle was taken from the pub, that is why Carolines finger prints were on it, so Caroline probably saw who took it and that is why she will die, could it be a return from the original stalker from years ago?, that is who would have such an issue with the older characters? Cassie is one of my suspects, I think Stefono has controll over the twins and is using rex as bait for the Salem PD while cassie is free to move without suscpision. Of course Sammie and Lucas are innocent, as is Kate in my opinion.
I do not like Mimee's mom in this role , but we all rember that the New Roman was also played a different role on days, I think Cris Choscheck, He played the love interest of an actress with the last name tweed., I do not enjoy him in the role either.

DAYS Serial Killer To Be Revealed in New Year

For several months, a serial killer has been stalking the residents of Salem. Abe Carver was the first victim felled by the killer… and nine more townspeople will meet with an untimely demise before the killer is caught. But hold on tight Days of Our Lives fans - the identity of the killer will soon be revealed.

Head writer James E Reilly recently previewed upcoming storyline twists during an interview with TV Guide. In the interview, Reilly revealed that he serial killer's identity would be revealed in January.

According to Reilly, following an attack by a tiger at the local circus, the killer will sneak into Tony's hospital room and poison his intravenous line. Tony will be the killer's seventh victim. But he won't be the last.

Three additional murders will take place by March. Two of the deaths are supposed to take place in February and one will occur in March.

It remains to be seen if network executives will take extra measures to keep the killer's identity under wraps. The gap between taping of an episode and that episode's actual airdate facilitates leaks. Some soaps have taken drastic steps to keep certain storyline twists a secret. Recently, DAYS's sister soap, Passions, waited until two days before an episode was set to air before taping scenes that revealed a kidnappers secret identity. CBS's The Bold and the Beautiful kept an actress hidden in a secret dressing room and didn't tell anyone that she was there in order to keep her return a secret.

Due to the holiday, a spokesperson for Days of Our Lives was unavailable for comment.

I believe that the killer is either Sammi or Shawn D, it may be Sammi, to continue on the possesion that her mother had in the 90's, which was controlled by Stephano, because remember when Marlena was possessed, her eyes would change into evil eyes, and maybe Sammi does that also when the killing occurs.....or maybe it's Shawn D, to frame Rex, because he is trying too hard to make Rex look guilty, to throw suspicion off himself, and he would be a person that everybody would trust.....nut my thoughts will probably continue to change as each show is played :) :laugh:

Maybe I've been watching too much TV lately, but after last night's episode of Average Joe, and last week's stunning revelation that Charlie is actually Alistair Crane, I'm betting that the Salem killer will be revealed as a minor nobody character wearing one of those latex life masks. So then the question would be...from whose likeness is the mask made? It could be anyone...even Alice. Or maybe the killer is using a different mask for each murder. A Roman mask for Abe's murder, a Marlena mask for Maggie's murder, etc., etc.....

Or it just could be that the show's writers won't know the killer's identity until the producers are finished firing everyone.

I've been watching Days off and on since its beginning in '65...and I'm astounded by the violent send-off some of these longtime major characters (like Abe and Maggie) are being given.

Billie Reed-not enough closure on her involvement during the last Larry Welch storyline...she got off too easy...her departure seemed to easy and too quick.

Stephano-via John Black...John Black would be the easy way out since he can commit the murders and get off in the end since he was under Stephano's control.

Marlena/Hattie: this is a long shot..but she was talking about her twin sister on the Wayne Brady show not too long ago....and how much fun it was to work with her...maybe she's coming back for a little while.

Passions? Jeez..once this storyline with Beth and the baby is over... I'm done! Mrs. Wallace is such a wimp...just rat out Beth and let us all off the hook already..I want my hour back!

I've been watching DOOL on and off since probably the late '70's. I can remember the original Roman Brady and when Tony was with Anna. I started avidly watching it again about a year ago give or take and was happy to see a good deal of the original characters. I'm not too happy with most of the characters they've written off. I'd like to see Lexie get it. I like Sammie but I wish they'd make her a better person already--and get back with Lucas. I don't like John Black or Mimi's mother. I'm thinking Stefano is the killer or with the mind control thing... :rolleyes:

Sami doesn't die, she actually survives. The killer tries to kill her again in an alley. It was in some spoilers I read.

I started watching Days everyday after not watching it for several months. It's getting boring with all these killings and it's to bad they are getting rid of some of the best cast members.
I for one would like to see Carrie and Mike come back. I have no idea what happened to Austin since I wasn't watching the show when he left but it would be nice to see him come back too.

As far as Passions goes, I'd love to see Beth's mother push rotten Beth over the cliff. I've been staying away from the show for the most part because of all the whinning she does.

I just watched today's episode, and they seem to be pointing the finger at Nicole. Which is why I think it's probably not her. I guess it could be Stefano, but I had another idea. What about "Tech"? He's a computer whiz, and he's never around until someone's killed. Maybe he's working with Stefano. And Roman seemed caught off gaurd when he saw the killer's face. spoiler sites report that Tony will die in January and that we will FINALLY know for sure who the killer is by the last week of January. All in all there are supposed to be 10 people killed. 1. Abe 2. Jack 3. Maggie 4. Caroline 5. Cassie 6. Roman ... 7 not yet but will be Tony... so there are still 3 others we don't know about.

I thought the killer was Nicole, but now I'm not so sure. I don't think it's Hattie because I was reading an article and the head writter said he would not bring someone back to take the fall. Rumor is Hope will be the last to die. My bet is the killer is Cassie under Stefano's control. We saw every single person murdered BUT Cassie.

Also I can't wait to see Sami and Lucus heat things up :)

Maybe Roman faked his death to help catch the real killer, but I believe when we do see the killer this month, it won't really be the real face, I believe they will be wearing a latex mask made to look like somebody else, which would fool us all, and my thoughts are on Hope, being Princess Gina, as I have heard that Hope will be killed off also.

Days is famous for having people wear latex masks, and for repeating it's storylines. I had previously thought that Phillip seems to be a good suspect. Perhaps he's not even in the Marines. Who knows? It does make for an interesting story. Cindy Queen of Soaps--I used to watch her when we had Seattle channels on our big dish. She does have a website too.

I actually WENT to the Days set and met several actors last year!!
I've been watching since 9th grade (I'm 29 now) and now I just see it/follow it sporadically. It's amazing how much you can follow when you don't even watch every day.

Anyway, on to the good stuff...

I used to work for an NBC affiliate and set up a set visit for a reporter to go out to LA and do a story on Days (among several other shows). It just so happened that I was going to be visiting a friend out there at the same time, so I tagged along (claiming strictly business, of course). We watched them tape a scene at Salem Place and then waited for the interviews in the police station set. It was so weird to sit there in the same place I remember watching on TV as a kid. I thought about "stealing" a souvenier from the set, but I couldn't do it. :)

I helped the reporter by telling him who all the players were and about the characters. We met and interviewed Sammy, Belle, John Black, and Jack and Jennifer. I was flipping out. Of course, I acted cool on the outside, but I was just amazed the whole time. I was also sick as a dog and had no voice at all, but that didn't stop me. I wished I'd taken pictures, but was trying to be professional and represent the station well and not come off like a crazy fan. Still, I extended to them my appreciation for the show, especially John, Jack and Jen (who can remember their real names?).

OK. That's all! Lots of fun. Just had to share with some folks who could appreciate it!

I gave up soaps and broadcast TV when NBC canceled Another World. I haven't watched ABC, NBC, or CBS since then. Initially, I was going to boycott them for as long as I had watched AW (8 years) but then I remembered Homicide, Life on the Street, and so many other shows that I gave my time to and realized what a waste of time and emotions that was. No way am I going to depend on stupid network tyrants for my entertainment. My Poodles are more entertaining anyway!

Still, I'd probably faint right on the spot if I ever got to meet Felicia or Cruz from Santa Barbara or - well, you understand.

I was just telling my husband today that I thought it might be tech too. Philip might be a possibility too. I'm hoping this all turns out to be someone's nightmare or something and that everyone will still be on the show. It really bugs me that they are killing off the original characters. I DO hope Bonnie gets killed off, her charactor bugs me.
It's funny because my husband was always saying to me "how can you watch that crap" and now all of a sudden he's dying to know what happened :laugh:

I met one of the characters from Days in the 80's when I was a teen. Steven nichols "Patch".
I was working at a car show at the civic center in Providence and the people in charge of the stage "patch" was on let me work on the stage taking pictures of the fans with "patch" ( they found out I was a huge fan of his) It was so much fun and at one point Steve came to my defense when a bunch of jerks starting pulling on my skirt, nearly knocking me off the stage. He actually stood up, walked over and started yelling at them to leave me alone. My Hero! :love:

I am a huge fan of days!! I have been watching it for 10 years. With all that is happening on days it is hard to figure out who is the salem killer. Back in December Celeste was having a visual with Jennifer, Lexy, Roman, and Sammy, when Abes' spirit came through and moved puzzle pieces around saying that John was the killer.

Then last week Tony was put in jail, cause Rex found those emails on his notepad thingy. and after Tony was released he said he was going to a funneral. hmmmm??

Then Today at the wedding, Nichoal said she killed Roman, cause Roman knew she and Victor killed Collin. hmmmmmm??

Then on that web site I just looked up it said that Tony will be killed at the end of this month. hmmmmmmm?????

Also, along time ago heard that Stefano will be returning to the show. Also, my sister is long time watcher and she said that Tony has been talking to Stefano on the phone every once in awhile.

This show through and through is one of my all time favorites along with The Young & The Restles!!

I've been a fan of DOOL for a very long time - I used to watch it when I was growing up because it was my Mom's favorite Soap. It's hard to believe that MY 15 year old daughter is hooked on the show just like I was. :)

Did I hear them right today? The killer shoved the bride & groom cake topper in Roman's mouth? YUCK!

I'm disappointed that they've decided to kill so many of the good characters off of this show. Like many of you, I keep hoping it's all just a bad dream and they wake up and our faves will all be back again. I can't believe I cried over Roman & Jack. Maybe it's just hormonal - that's my story and I'm stickin' to it! :laugh:

I think they really need to get rid of the new writer. Don't you wish he would be the serial killer's next victim? :rolleyes:

No guesses who the killer is because I've heard a few good theories. I just wish Mimi's mother would be on the list. I can't STAND to watch her as this cheesy character. And believe me, she had way too much cleavage hanging out in that stupid santa outfit. GROSS woman, cover up! Blech!

I really don't think the killer will turn out to be Hattie. I read an article by the head writter of DAYS and he said he wouldn't bring a character back to take the fall. In the Soap Opera Weekly magazine I got today, there was a preview in there and this is what it said "It's the day DAYS fans have been waiting for when the Salem Stalker's identity is reveled at "the end of January". It's a huge surprise. I don't think anyone is going to expect - or believe- who the murderer really is." Everyone already suspects it's Hattie as Marlena. I also don't think it's Nicole. When Roman was murdered, he was really shocked to see who it was. If it was Nicole he probably would have said "I should have known it was you". My bet it's Sami being brainwashed by Stefano like her mother was. JMO.

As I've posted earlier, I started watching this from the beginning - with Doug, Julie, Alice and Tom and all of their kids. I was 8 years old but watched with my mom. Through the years I kept up on work holidays, in college when I didn't have a class, etc.

Now my son, who is 22 and lives with us, and I will catch Days whenever we're both at home every month or so. We make a date to watch just to make fun of it.

Drake H (John Black) has got to be the worst actor on daytime tv. For years his acting has consisted of arching his eyebrow and sneering. When he's thinking deep thoughts he arches his eye brow and grimaces, when he's suspicious he arches his eyebrow and grimaces, when he wants Marlena he arches his eyebrow and sneers, when he's irritated with Brady he arches his eyebrow and sneers.

That and the scenes of Caroline in the coffin talking to various people - how awful. They couldn't pay me enough to lay in a coffin and pretend to be dead, let alone harass various mourners as they came up to pay their last respects.

I like the actress that plays Sami and she's probably even a good actress but the way they have her behave - ranting and raving all the time against Kate, or whoever else she's mad at. That poor characters blood pressure must be off the scale. Get a life of your own Sami!

If Marlena really is Marlena (and not Hattie) she's irritating me now. She messed around on Roman with John (and conceived Belle) and was obsessed with John then she decides out of the blue she's in love with Roman and wants him back. Then she's giving psychiatric help to Jan! Good grief, talk about the blind leading the blind.

Sorry to DOOL fans! I really am a fan too since I can't stop watching. It's just so much fun to poo poo the characters!

I can't ever remember not watching DAYS at least once a week or so. The show has annoyed me on many occasions and this Salem Serial Killer is really dragging out. Marlena's possession cause me to not watch the show for several months.

My guess on the serial killer is Lexi & Tex. Lexi only grieved for a day after Abe was murdered and Tex has the skills to do all the computer stuff. Just my .02. I do wish that Sami & Lucas would get together.

The serial killer is suppose to be relieved on 1/28...the day that Tony dies. Can't wait.

I really don't think Marlena is the killer. Remember when the killer was in Maggie's house and Maggie didn't know it was the killer? She told them that she was going to Marlena's office the next day to go under hypnosis the next day. Maggie also said to the killer "Look I don't mean to offend you but Mickey & I don't serve liquor in our home for obvious reasons. Do you know I am into AA for two decades now?". She wouldn't have had to tell Marlena that. The killer did have to be someone Maggie trust to let them in her home tho.

I have also watched DOOL for what seems like forever... I remember the show when my Mom and I used to watch after school. They just can't kill off all of the "oldies". I think that Roman is really dead. His ghost appeared to Celest along with Maggie. I don't think that Cassie is dead. We never saw her get killed like we did the others, and she is the only one who has not appeared as a ghost to Celest. I think Maggie would have let Cassie in her home because at that time everyone believed Cassie was Marlena's daughter. Cassie didn't know Maggie well enough to know she was in AA. But the killer is supposed to be a "beloved" character and Cassie hadn't been on the show long enough to have been one. I just hope these next 20 days go by fast so we can find out who the killer is already!

But I believe she is Gina's daughter (The person Hope turned into) She had found out she was a Princess and soon after left the show. She was together with Erik (Sammy's brother) until he cheated on her with Nicole. Then she was kind of with Austin and they made the cutest couple!! God, what I would do to have Austin come back (And Eric for that matter!!!) But anyway, Greta is a really sweet girl (if not a little weak!) I love her though.

Kristen is I think stefenos adopted daughter she also had a brother that was briefly married to Jennifer. She was in love with John Black, they had a relationship for awhile, but it fell apart, he was back with Marlana. So Kristen locked marlana up in Stefenos mansion, in on of the tunnels in the house. Also I rember that kristen hired someone who looked like her for some reason and the look alike fell for John also and locked kristen up with Marlena and almost married John.
Also for who was wondering who Greta was she was the allagato girl in the Bayou wth scars on her face. She was brought back to Salem with bo, given plasic surgery and was pretty, she was falling for bo but was side track by Jack, but Jack told her he was gay, but wanted to use Greta to make Jen jealsous. In the end greta ended up being a Princess and I think there were hint that John was her father and The women who hope use to turn into was her mother.

I read that the way Tony dies is that at a festival type thing He is going to be mauled by a tiger and while he is in the hospital the serial killer put something in his I.V.and that is when the killer is revealed.

It probably is her. It really does make some sense since they spent quite a lot of time developing the "Hattie" character and then just seemed to forget about her. I had wonderered at the time why they did all that only to write her character out of the story.

Who I wish was on the list: Sami(I've had enough already she's already repeating her past scams), Brady(annoying..whiney), Shawn(annoying, whiney), Mimi's mom(painful to watch), John Black(he overacts.. maybe just a break from him would be good).

Who I'll miss: Jack..he could have been on the show for years and added humor and interest...why?why? why?

Who I think might be the killer?:
Billie Reed-not enough closure on her involvement during the last Larry Welch storyline...she got off too easy...her departure seemed to easy and too quick.
Stephano-via John Black...John Black would be the easy way out since he can commit the murders and get off in the end since he was under Stephano's control.

Marlena/Hattie: this is a long shot..but she was talking about her twin sister on the Wayne Brady show not too long ago....and how much fun it was to work with her...maybe she's coming back for a little while.

Passions? Jeez..once this storyline with Beth and the baby is over... I'm done! Mrs. Wallace is such a wimp...just rat out Beth and let us all off the hook already..I want my hour back!

Nichole is going off the deep end (so is her acting BAD!!!) Since when does she talk to an alter ego? The thing that makes me think this was when Maggy let the killer in she said she didnt know her very well and she doesnt have an alcohol in the house to offer the killer.

I read somewhere that Tony does have an alter ego and they are trying to set him up. But one of the two will get mauled by tiger. But the killer is not suppose to be revealed until the 28th. I think theyve drawn this out long enough!

Not much... Oh yea, Jennifer's daughter Abby came into the room AGAIN while Jen was talking about her baby dilema and AGAIN screamed "NO! You can't kill daddy's baby." I understand the sentiment but come on can't the writers perhaps give her few other lines? This one is overused! :worry::boring: There are quite a few terrible actors on the show lately. ( Loved the previous posts about John's facial expressions. I thought I was the only one that noticed. LOL) Was Mickey always such a bad actor or is it just more noticable because he's been given more to say? And yes, Bo better come back to Hope, I don't think I could bear to watch w/o them. :frown3:

On Nov. 4 - 5, 2003, Maggie will invite the killer into her home. It is someone she is friendly with. She is unaware that this person is there to kill her.

Let's think about this for a minute...

Would she invite any of the suspects into her home, when she knows she may be the next to die? Not likely. So logically we must say the killer is not one of our suspects...

Ask yourself these questions:

Who would Maggie be friendly with?

Would she be friendly with someone from the police station?

Who is in a key position to know who does and who does not know whom the killer is?

Is the killer someone who is part of the inner circle at the police station.

Who would have the ability to make it look like someone else is guilty?

Why hasn't the killer gone after John?

Does the killer know John doesn't have a clue and is only blowing smoke?

Who would have known that Abe was "taking precautions" by wearing a bulletproof jacket?

Who would have known that the police had a brick with evidence on it and known exactly where to go to retrieve it?

Who knew that Jack was going to confront all the suspects and potentially who may not have been guilty?

Who do we not know the history of?

Just why did Tek ask Rex if Tony and Marlena are his parents?

Did Tek know that his question would catch Rex off guard and make it look like Rex lied on the rest of the test?

The Salemites gather at the hospital to be treated, and to get word of loved ones, while Victor seems to be getting the noose ready for Nicole, and the identity of the Salem Stalker is revealed to the viewing audience. If you do not want to know, please do not read any further.

AT THE CIRCUS Doug & Julie talk of the horrendous events, and how could this have all happened. Doug suddenly remembers bumping into the hooded figure when he had the big armload of birthday gifts, & Julie says they must go tell John & Hope right away. Elsewhere, Bonnie is hugging Mimi, glad her little girl is safe. Mickey comes in, & naturally, Bonnie falls all over him, as he explains about taking Alice, Jen & Abby home. Celeste comes in, talking of the killer not being thru, not being happy til Tony is dead. In another area, Shawn is coughing, but claims to be o.k. as they talk a bit & kiss. (Egads, these kids had better satisfy those raging hormones pretty soon) John is trying to clean some blood from his face as Marlena comes in. He says he is o.k. & she asks about Tony. Doug & Julie arrive, telling of Doug bumping into the hooded figure, but he saw nothing of the face, etc. Julie is happy, as now Doug won’t be a target. John asks if Marlena is o.k. & she says she hid in one of the backstage dressing rooms during the fire, etc. Doug overhears this, remembers how he & Lucas had searched them & they were empty. He questions Marlena, who claims it was all such a blur…..but now she remembers it was a supply room. Mickey is about to leave when Bonnie “faints”. Mimi knows it is fake, but Mickey insists on taking her to the hospital. Hope shows a list of all the women who were at the circus to John, and both agree the only woman on it, who might be the killer is Nicole Walker. They show the list to Marlena, who agrees. Belle insists John have his gashes looked at, while Hope says the same about Shawn, who seems to be suffering from smoke inhalation. Hope says the Salem PD is searching for the tiger and all is under control. (Funny how no one is worried any more whether Horton is anywhere around them. Lol)Everyone leaves for the hospital.

AT THE KIRIAKIS MANSION Nicole & Brady arrive at the front door, but she is hesitant to go in. Brady talks her into it, and there is Victor, waiting for them with Officer Ruiz. No, she is not under arrest, but he is there to keep an eye on her in case she is needed for questioning, and will be in his car out in front. Victor taunts Nicole about her murdering days being over, Brady asks for proof that Nicole is a killer, since she was with him all the time at the circus. Victor goes to get it, Nik wants time alone with Victor, and Brady leaves. She scolds Victor for wanting to bring out the video, that he promised not to show it to anyone, and she would not tell of him being accessory after the fact. They argue a bit, he leaves. Brady comes back, Nicole puts on her sad face, claiming her innocence, & Brady believes her, as she hugs him.

TONY IS WHEELED INTO THE HOSPITAL on a gurney, as Lexie comes along, talking of extreme loss of blood, damage to muscle & tissue, an artery, & barking orders. (She sure is fast clothes changer, as she is in full hospital garb, with even the mandatory stethoscope around her neck. LOL) Later she is apologizing to her brother for suspecting him of being the killer, & begs him to hang on
Bonnie protests to Mickey that she is o.k., but he insists she be checked over.. Later, the doctor says she is fine, but she coyly tells him of no insurance, and since this happened to her at the hospital fundraiser, maybe they should not charge her. He says he will se what he can do. Meanwhile, Julie is talking to Doug about gold digger Bonnie on the make for Uncle Mickey. Doug tries to make a few flimsy excuses, but Julie has her number. Mickey arrives, & Julie tries to talk to him about how much time he is spending with Bonnie, & isn’t it a bit soon. He tells her their friendship is innocent, & that Bonnie takes his mind off his great loss with her humor and good nature.

A white coated figure, carrying a doctor’s bag (we see only from about the waist down) and wearing latex gloves, goes into the pharmacy storeroom, turns on the light, opens the bag, takes out a hockey mask & I guess the dark sweatshirt, disposing of them in the waste container. The figure then opens the locked cabinet, taking out a vial & emptying it’s contents into a syringe, then disposes of the vial in the waste container. The figure locks the cabinet door, turns out the light, and leaves the storeroom.

Hope & John go to visit Tony. John bemoans having suspected Tony, & how much time was wasted on it, that he is sorry, and just wants Tony to get better. Tony’s eyes open, & he starts to tell who the killer is, when Lexie comes barging in (GMAB!) yelling at Hope & John, refusing to let him talk. The monitor beeps, she shags them out. Tony struggles to tell her, but she is insistent he not talk, just rest. Lexie refuses to let John & Hope back in, saying Tony needs more time, and they can talk to him later. Celeste overhears and says Tony does not have much more time.

Bonnie gets ready to vacate the cubicle, but first decides to stuff her purse with the various items sitting out. Mickey catches her with the cotton balls, but she claims they fell out as she was getting up, and now were no longer hospital sterile, so she did not want to put them back in. He wonders why the hospital did not charge her for the visit, she claims not to know, but says the doctor said she should probably not be alone tonite, so asks Mickey if she can have another “sleepover” at his house. A distracted Mickey, who is looking over the bill, says, sure. (Ohhhh, Julie, where are you NOW. LOLOL)

Marlena comes out, telling Belle that she spoke to the doctor (so, there ARE other doctors at Salem Hospital!) and Shawn is fine. She begs Marlena to try and work things out with John. (Yep, most important thing now, Belle. Relatives are dead, a man has been mauled, but “let’s all be a family” is the only mantra you know) Shawn comes out, and hugs Belle. John comes out, all stitched up, with a bandage on his neck (wow, ANOTHER doctor! Amazing!) & says he is o.k. He & Hope talk of the evidence. The syringe she sent to lab (from the circus) had no prints, but contained a powerful drug, and no wonder the tiger went off. Proof that the whole things was very deliberate. (yeah, and no one ever noticed that dart sticking out of the tiger’s rump) Celeste joins them, with more of her doom & gloom talk. Lexie is talking to Tony, as we see a shadow behind her on the curtain, pulling on latex gloves. Then we see Marlena talking to John about Belle. He suggests he move back in, but no. She leaves, Hope chats with Belle & Shawn, then leaves. Belle whines again to Shawn about her parents. Lexie, Hope & Celeste wait for Tony to wake up, which Lexie says should be soon.

The policeman standing guard lets the white coated figure into Tony’s cubicle. Outside Belle is still whining to Shawn, John & Hope are chatting. Suddenly, Celeste gets a horrified look on her face, & gasps out that the killer is about to strike again. Inside the cubicle, Tony’s eyes open as the latex gloved hands hold the syringe. He manages to gasp out “I knew it was you. I knew it was you”, as the camera goes upwards to reveal the face of Marlena…….who quietly says, “You are just too smart for your own good, Tony”. And the previews for the next episode show…………..

Brady asking Nicole if she is innocent, and she says, No

Shawn telling Belle of Tony saying the killer is a woman, but has no idea who, just hoping she rots in hell.

John telling Lexie that the guard said some doctor had gone in, but didn’t know who SHE was (Oh, come on….that whole town knows Marlena’s face – been in the papers often enough, and JMHO)

In the new SOD I got today, they had an interview with Deidre Hall (Marlena) and she said that she is NOT Hattie, she's not possesed, she's not under anyones controll. It really is Marlena. I can't take much more of this.....the show has sunk to an all-time low in my estimation. I don't know how those actors (the few remaining good ones) can stand the daily grind of performing for this cornballish "macabre" storyline. This whole circus in town scenario is sooooo bad.

Oh, Marlena (Deidre Hall) will be on The Ellen Degeneres show this Thursday....not that she'll be spilling any important beans or anything. I love how they made it so obvious today who the killer was, just one day before it will be revealed. I think what's really annoying me about this whole thing is...there is NO way that the person walking around in the mask could actually pass as her. It's an obvious stunt double. Why is that bothering me so much? :rolleyes:

This whole circus thing is just stupid. I did like the Sami/Lucas scene in the circus car this week. But then again, I think I'm just grasping to find SOMETHING I'm still liking about this show anymore. Especially with Peter Reckell off on vacation for awhile.

Well with Marlena being the killer there are alot of questions that need to be answered like.....

What was her motive for killing Abe, Jack, Maggie, Caroline, Cassie, Roman, and Tony?

When Cassie was murdered, wasn't Marlena out of town with John?

How did she learn to use a PDA?

Why was Caroline's ghost so adament about Marlena being in danger that Celeste must warn her?

Why did the head writter say the killer was in the room when Abe died? Marlena wasn't in there

Why would Marlena try to kill Sami?

Why didn't we see Cassie get murdered?

Maybe Marlena has a brain tumor and doesn't know what she is doing?

How does Billie know who the killer is?

How was she able to send the images to the computer at the police station by using the video camera while she was killing Maggie?

Hopefully alot of questions will be answered for all of this to make sense!!!

I heard that Victor is going to be a victim. Don't know if it's true & if so, how he will be killed.

Yes, I heard the rumor that it was going to be either Hope or Alice that was going to be the last to die. It supposedly is going to be someone that is very loved on Days and that it will upset all fans. I personally wouldn't mind it being Alice since I'm sure that she wants to retire soon since she is getting up there in age. But for them to kill off Hope for a payroll cut? That's seriously enough for me to finally call it quits with the show. And I know that Peter Reckell is on vacation and all...but if the excuse of him leaving to go find Billie is just an "in" to bring her back in time to be there for him when Hope is murdered, I'll scream!

Soap opera timelines are so warped anyway....based on Belle's age(18?) ..Sami should be at least 34-36 ...meaning Marlena needs to be at least 54-56 at least(I haven't watched since the beginning sorry) if soap opera people aged at the same rate and not just to satisfy a storyline...either Belle would be 10 or Marlena would be in her sixties.

I may be alone on this, but I'm not happy about Tony being killed off. Of course, since he's a Dimera, he could resurface at any time in the future. I thought that Reilly (sp) the head writer said in the TV guide magazine interview that it would NOT be Hattie.... who knows though... I'm sure there is some wild twist because it being just Marlena doesn't make too much sense!

I missed the last two episode because I was traveling between chicago and st louis. I read the summary on the NBC official site and it didnt say specifically who the killer was. I had to come back to my OLS family to find out! Oh well. I too dont understand how horribly this story line has progressed. Its like watching a train wreck. Sadly I must admit I started looking forward to the killings so I could try and get more clues as to who done it! :sherlock:

I caught Deidre Hall on Ellen this morning. She said that she was guessing right along with everyone else who the killer was this whole time. But I read somewhere that she was approached early on about this and said okay to it. So who knows.

She was looking rather hip and said she was basically sick of looking Marlena'ish with the clothes she wears. I thought she looked really good. Other than that, she said that there will be more killings. But we all knew that already. Oh and she was talking about how when they have showed the killer on the show, it's funny how one day they are really short and then the next look totally different. That's been bugging me for some time, so I found it humourous. :smile9:

Now think about this...other than the fact that Deidre's contract is up soon which you know she will be extending...how are they going to play this out? I mean really, do you honestly think that they will be finding Marlena guilty and locking her up in jail forever for all of these killings? Don't think so. And it's not like she would just get a slap on the wrist for killing 7+ people. I know it's just a tv show, but even that is not realistic for tvland. I just hope they aren't lying by saying it's not Hattie, only to later reveal it is. Cause that would be really lame.

Mickey #3 is not doing it for me. If your can't have the original, then #2 is much better then #3. I wish they would have brought back the actress that plays Bonnie as her original role as Adrian. In fact I think they should bring back Calyope as the Salem Stalker. And Vivian and Ivan need to come back too. To be honest, I was hoping Marlena would have finished off Belle.

I would love to see Vivian and Ivan back. They were so funny. I'm still upset about them killing Tony. I guess I sorta root for the "bad guys". What would the show be without them? Several years ago, John Clarke's real-life daughter Mindy Clarke played a very young woman on this show. Seems like she was the daughter of the woman who played Brian's mother - and I think Brian was messing with Adrian at that time. (Adrian has come back as Bonnie!) Seems as if the woman and daughter lived in a trailer that was actually parked in the street somewhere. What was Mindy's character's name?

Anyway, Mindy Clarke's name is now Melinda Clarke and she's been a guest girlfriend on Seinfeld, played Lady Heather twice - the madam that fascinated Gil Grissom - on CSI and now is a regular on the show OC - I don't watch OC but I read about Melinda Clarke being on it. And I saw an interview with John Clarke - Mickey - where he said he was going to retire and enjoy his daughter being on a hit show.

I just had a crazy thought. Could it be that the reason Days is killing off all these principal players (looks like Doug is next), is that DOOL is coming to an end? Maybe the executives know something (such as impending cancellation) and they want to go out in a blaze of gory glory.

Ok....I said it was crazy, but I can't understand the purpose of permanantly eliminating so many characters that may no longer be key players, but certainly were in the past (like Doug and Julie). For longtime viewers like myself, these now "dead" characters (Abe, Maggie, Roman, Doug, etc) were essential parts of the whole show and its history. The prospect of never, ever seeing these people (alive) again on Days is so sad.

There better be a good explanation for all this slaughter.....or......I'll never watch the show again. Yeah...that'll show 'em. :rolleyes:

Soap Net is on channel 188 on DishTV on satellite. They run all the current ABC soaps, plus a soap talk show, and oldies such as Ryan's Hope, Another World, Dynasty, Dallas, and Knot's Landing.

I just had to go to Dustin's Days Page today to read about Thursday's ep. Sounds good.

I read up on some theories fans have as to what is going on. I hadn't visited there for quite awhile, so it was interesting. :laugh:

If I know the killer I wouldn't confront her--I'd take it to the authorities. I can't believe Doug is also going to be killed off. They may renew the show until 2009 but it won't be the DOOL I will want to watch. I'm sick of this macabre story line. Enough already!
