Hey gang,

I'm kinda new here, but thought I'd try and request some assistance...

One of the best people in my life sent me some mail today asking me to help her, help her friends that is, win a contest on bhg.com. Her friends have a little girl and... well here is what my friend wrote me:

"Her name is Cate and she is the dear first child of my friend from high school and his sweet wife. They've entered her in a Better Homes and Gardens Halloween [photo] contest and, frankly, I want her to win. Please help her."

I'm sure most of us are already registered at BHG.com. You get five entries a day, I don't know how long it runs, but if she got five entries ONLY from some of us it sure would help. It IS an awfully cute picture!

Again... Thanx SO MUCH!!! I know her success in this contest is due to my friends in the sweeping community, and her parents do too.

She has been hangin in there bouncing between 3rd 4th and 5th place...

I don't really understand what the "Weeks" are or how long the voting periods are... the rules are a little confusing... so I am just going to continue putting in my 5 votes every day until it tells me I can't anymore.

Yeah... I was supprised at her standing when I put my 5 in this morning... but she's still doing SO MUCH better than she ever could have thanx to us!!! Plus... it's not over yet... WE are persistant... those other little kids parents will get tired of entering and THAT is when Cate will start shining!!! Thank you for all the votes y'all DO contribute...

Hey gang!!! Thanx so much for all yer help on this! Little Cate is doing really awesome! I would LOVE to see her beat the little "Pre-Teen Beauthy Queen" who is in 4th place (Cate is in 5th a few hundred votes behind).
