Hello all!
SHORT VERSION:
Please, please vote for me and my fiance at http://www.thepwgdc.com/stories.htm We are in the first column - Kristi & Andy.
LONG VERSION:
This contest is what got me hooked on sweeping. It's a wedding package for over $25K! And you have to be a resident of the DC area. Only about 80 (!) people entered so my odds are very good - if you vote!!! It's the first time they've ever held this contest and they keep changing the rules. When I entered, the story had to be 400 or fewer words, then that restriction disappeared. And it became a voting contest very late in the game. Who knew?? Anyway, please vote for Kristi & Andy (column one) at http://www.thepwgdc.com/stories.htm
EVEN LONGER VERSION:
The story (if you'd rather read it here) tells the story of how my fiance and I met, got engaged, etc. Essentially, I was a prosecutor and he was a police officer - one of my witnesses. He surprised me last Thanksgiving with a ring and now we are trying to pay for a wedding and buy a house at the same time with no help from either side of the family. This would be a tremendous help of course. The reception, rehearsal dinner, and just about everything you can think of is paid for. Ahhhhhh . . . So, please please vote for Kristi & Andy at http://www.thepwgdc.com/stories.htm
THANKS!!!! :smile3:
