I have been watching for this. I had so much fun last year shopping for my buddy. Most everybody else I buy for already knows what they will be getting, as do I, so this is a lot of fun. Can't wait. I already have some ideas for surprises for my buddy.

Yep. Definetly aren't going to have the problems that we had last year with this. Used items (you wouldn't believe how many times this has happened), people not even coming close to the $40 limit, people not sending at all and not showing any remorse about it, etc, etc, etc.

Also, something I want to add. People like to go on spending sprees for this, and spend well over $100 for their swap partner. If you like to buy buy buy, please don't be disappointed when your swap partner only sends the minimum or just a little over the minimum. For as long as the minimum is met then no rules have been broken.

PLEASE, if you don't have the extra money to spend, it would be better to save the money for your family at home. Don't feel that you need to get involved with this. Times are tough for many people, that is understandable. I was able to put away a few dollars here and there to make sure I could get in it this year, but for a while I thought that i was just going to host and not worry about participating. BUT, if you have to, it is better spent on groceries, heat, gas, etc.
