So, who wants to try the Segway tour with me? The one thing I am definately doing is going to the Alamo. I went when I was around 10 years old and it was pretty neat, much smaller then one would think.

I am leaving myself open to do other stuff and will play it by ear.

Some of the old churches look pretty awesome, I love the architecture. And of course I will be stuffing my face at some of the great places there are to eat. I want to wander a bit as well and check out some of the local flavor.

So tell me, what's on your must see or do list? If anyone needs company on any of thier adventures just give me a holler.

LMAO! No doubt Binski! I think I'll join you and mamasan for a couple!

Just looked at thier menu, lots of margarita varieties and very reasonable prices! They even have a Texas sized one just for you!

My husband and I can't wait to see the Alamo! Also he's promised me a nice boat ride on the the river, probably at night when there's lots of lights all around. We may also go over to the Buckhorn Saloon and Museum & Texas Ranger Museum; I believe it's in walking distance on E. Houston Street. The Buckhorn sounds like something real interesting and something we certainly we don't have here in Maine! Valerie

I'm excited for this:

Labor Day Arts & Crafts
8/29/2008 - 9/1/2008
Located along the River Walk Extension near the Chamber of Commerce, this Arts & Crafts Show displays some of the most unique hand made merchandise available anywhere. Whether it's jewelry, pottery or fine art you are interested in, you can get a head start on your holiday shopping. Enjoy a stroll along the picturesque River Walk, stop to talk to our vendors who are anxious to share information about their craft, and take home an item that will enhance your wardrobe or home

Maybe we can book a boat just for OLS'ers? Will definately be taking a river ride or two, going to the Alamo and for sure that Arts and Crafts Fair.

See everyone in 18 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
