We came to the cross-road this weekend with the hotel as to whether to go for the bigger room which another party wants to rent or stay with the same room as last year. Because I could not commit to attendance of 350, we decided to stay on the safe side and our convention will be limited to the 200 attendees. We had fallen way too short of a 350 attendance level to even attempt to commit to such a large crowd, especially with the San Antonion convention going on the month before.
Also, be sure to reserve your rooms by calling the Holiday Inn directly soon so that 1) you get the discounted rate and 2) we now have another large party going for the same sleeping rooms. We do have backup hotels in the area, but we can't guarantee that even they won't get sold out with the new casino opening up down the street.
Please be sure to check our website out at
www.hersheyminiconvention.com to be sure you are not left out. We have been posting the number of attendees actually paid on a consistent basis.
For those who sent us emails that they were planning and coming, please send in your registration as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee any spots to be fair to everyone.
