I smoke and drink (occassionally). I have other vices as well..... most of which I love and have made the past 50 years quite exciting!

I started out drinking martini's in my younger days. I always preferred Vodka Martini's. Then I decided that the olives and the Vermouth was what was getting me drunk so I switched to straight Vodka! :laugh:

Now I'm mainly a wine drinker. I enjoy a good red wine (either a Merlot or Cabernet) with my meals. Occassionally, I love an ice cold beer.

I tried smoking a cigar on Saturday and nearly died. Luckily, after 30 minutes of coughing, my body decided to stop hating me. I'll try it again, though. I'm always glutton for punishment. :wink4:

Here is one of my favorites. Three Olives Vodka is one of my favorites and they have awesome recipes on their website.

Ecstasy Martini
2 oz, Three Olives Grape Vodka
1/2 oz. Blue Curacao
1/2 oz. Grenadine
Splash of tonic water
Shake with ice and strain into chilled martini glass. Garnish with an orange slice.

I smoke ciggies, does that count? I drink once in awhile as I use to drink too much and now I really don't have any desire. I do enjoy a drink or two (or three...weeeeee) when the urge strikes.

My favorite drink is Long Island Ice Tea but, I like others as well.

I can't drink or smoke, but when I did I loved it! Actually, I can have a drink or two, dr. said it was fine. My dh, family and friends do, and I love the atmosphere of a dive bar, sports bar, club or bowling alley. I miss my Bacardi and diets! You can take the party out of the girl, but you can't take the girl out of the party! Did that make any sense?

This was my favorite shot:

Pineapple uspsidedown cake

1 part family vodka
1.5 parts pineapple juice
splash of grenadine

You can make it into a drink, but its really sweet. Just add more ingredients and cherries

Just wanted to add - My kidney problems had NOTHING to do with drinking or smoking. I was born with it, but didn't find out until I was 22. :gvibes:

Right now am on Oxycontin for pain and along with my other meds for my mental health? I should not drink so am trying to behave. I want a beer so bad though. :grin3::toast1: I have drank a few beers on Oxycontin before but after that? I seen a show on TV about a guy who died that way so guess it best to not drink right now. I did not even get to enjoy beer with SuperBowl! The shame.. lol.....

:cheer4:I have a refrigerator in my basement with a chain and lock on it full of top shelf alcohol. The lock is because my kids are getting older and I remember being a teen. My latest favorite is a Purple Haze margerita. Tequila is my friend and it used to get me in alot of trouble. You know the kind, where am I? Who the fark are you? Where are my clothes? I don't drink now enough to say I'm really a drinker, but I smoke enough to make up the difference. I miss those days of tequila hormones. I had some of my best memories of dancing on tables when drinking. Believe it or not that is how I meet my husband of 9 years now.

Anybody buy their ciggies online? I'm trying to find a place to order from, but half of them look likes scams. Tired of getting reamed on price because it's fashionable to tax the s##t out of smokers. Paying about $41/carton right now. Seriously sucks because in '95 I was paying $13/carton.

Just an FYI for all you margarita lovers out there, if you live in/near Galveston, there's a restaurant called Tortuga. I'm not sure if it's only this one location, but it has $1.50 house margarita's all day on Monday. They are served in a frosted mug and aren't watered down. :loveu:

i'm a smoker. keep saying i'm going to quit, but never do. tried a few times but i really enjoy smoking so what i've been able to do is cut from a pack and a half a day down to 1/2 a pack (providing i don't have stress that day)...... been on that schedule for a few years now.

I like to drink occasionally and I loved to smoke (for 22 years), but finally quit a little over two weeks ago:pinkie:. I like Vodka, Tequila and Jagermeister. I love beer; the darker the better. I use to love Mich light, but now I drink Amberbock, Killian's Irish Red, Guinness.... There's this store called World Market not far from where I live where you can buy a six pack of assorted beers from around the world....just pick and choose what you like. I love doing that and trying new ones. They also sell tons of wines, but I hate wine for the most part. It just gives me a huge headache.

Beer, Bud Light, Amberbock, a Tequila shooter with salt and lime once in a while, has to be with a group of the girls. And yes, I need my training wheels. At the moment I'm sipping on a glass of Starbucks Cream on the rocks, YUMMY! As I'm puffing on my Pall Mall Ultra lights 100.
As an added bonus, I get to drink at work! lol We own a bar, believe me, it's not near as much fun as you would think. Lots of work and lots of stupid drunks to put up with. But it pays the bills.
