I like to gamble but rarely have the opportunity. And when I do, I can only stomach to lose $100 or so. But I do have that gambling streak in me!

I could be wrong but I think all of us here have that streak. Or else we would find this boring and time consuming!

What do you think?

Nope. I don't like to lose my money, and I think gambling is a waste of money.

I like getting something for nothing with no risk but my time!

I like to gamble, but I always have a set amount to take into the casino. I took $25.00 in a couple of years ago and walked out with $28K.... :toot:

I was cleaning today and came across my Total Rewards card from Harrah's and was thinking to myself that we hadn't been in a while (only twice ever and not in 5+ years). Then I realized that I didn't really care to now that I can enter all of these sweepstakes for free and probably with better odds.

I like to play poker and bet the horses, but that's the extent of it- I won't play against the house, only other bettors.

Because I only gamble with what I can afford to lose which right now is nothing, I have to content myself with entering sweeps and poker with fake chips.

I love to gamble. I don't think that gambling and sweepstakes are the same but do enjoy both pasttimes.

I just do a couple scratch off lottery tickets. I don't do casinos or anything like that.

I love to gamble. Last year I went to the casinos about 8 times. Would go alot more if they were closer. But I dont like to spend alot either. But I usually come home ahead. I go to Bingo alot too. That is close. If I could afford it, I would go every night. I get in such bad moods when I cant go. I hate it. I dont like alot of the newer machines at the casinos either so it saves me more. I like the old machines.
I also think this is why I enter so many sweeps, but I also love to go to read everything in the forums.
Im going to Tunica or Biloxi in 2 weeks while we go to Mardi Gras I cant wait.....

Good Luck everyone

I go to the Seminole Hard Rock Casino as often as possible at least twice a month. I never gamble more than what I bring which is usually I sweep to fill the time before I can go to casino again LOL I see a lot of big gamblers just sticking 100. dollar bills in the machines. Scary but I have to admit if I had the money I may do same thing.

Shoot..... am I a gambler?

You look at my location and then you tell me?:shocked2:

I love to gamble! I play blackjack, poker, bingo, horseracing, football...... if you can bet on it.... I love it.

Over the past 10 years, I have won big and lost big.

I think the most I ever won was playing blackjack at the HorseShoe Casino in Tunica, Mississippi. I was drunk as hell and just happened to hit the right table that night. When they "poured" me into the Penthouse suite and sent a limo for my husband, I had over $70,000. DH and I had the time of our lives for the next couple of days. We had a blast, all on the casino's dime.

I do have a rule though..... never gamble with money that you couldn't afford to lose in the first place. Which means.... never gamble with your bill money or rent money.

BTW...... my oldest son is a professional poker player. I guess the nut doesn't fall far from the tree, huh?:rofl2:

Sometimes I wish I could get that drunk and lucky again.:rofl2:

I try to get AC once a year with a set amount to play with and that is it. I made two hundred last time I went.

We just went last weekend as a matter of fact. We live 1hr. 15 minutes from Vicksburg and we go once a month of sometimes every other month. We live about 2 1/2 hrs. from Biloxi, so we go there a couple of times in the summer. I bring about $200-$300 each trip. We go to the Ameristar in Vicksburg. We get a free room, 2 free buffetts (I just LOVE the boiled shrimp and crab legs). Hubby doesn't play, he usually brings his laptop and stays in the room while I go gamble. I mainly play .25 Wheel of Fortune and .25 video poker. I won $400 this past trip. First time playing deuces wild (usually I play double double bonus) this trip and I hit 4 deuces for $250! I am also part of a forum where people discuss their gambling trips to Tunica, Atlantic City, Biloxi, Vegas, and other casinos. Pretty cool site and it tides me over until I get back.

i love the casinos, lottery, tracks and we do private sport pools sometimes. We both also work hard but any bills are always paid first and it has always been that way. I guess my gambling is for fun so if we don't win I don't worry about what we spent

I LOOOOVE to gamble....I also work in a casino, thus limiting my gambling because they do not let employees gamble. I am not a high roller and never gamble what I cannot afford to lose. I usually break even or come out slightly up, nothing ever fantastic. I have also lost it all too. As a casino employee, I see the same people day in and day out gambling THOUSANDS of dollars and they usually lose. It makes me sick sometimes to see they people who are absolute dirtbags who just happen to have A LOT of cash bet $2000 a hand over and over and over. If only I could have one of those bets, $2000, a month I could do wonders. Someday....:rolleyes2

Mom and I go to Seminole Hard Rock Casino...Same one as Joanieo..Poster #11, at least 1 a month. We were there last Thursday. We go for about 4 hours and during that time I lost $12.00. Not bad. We really go to get Mom cigarettes and so we plan to go when Mom runs out of Cigarettes.
My DH and I love Vegas and we were there last year. When I am in Michigan we will go to MGM Casino in Detroit. We do set amounts on our spending and do not go if we cannot afford to lose
it.

I love to gamble too. It's fun. I do not spend more than I can afford and shoot, sometimes I even come out ahead. We have casino boats about 2 hours away, so we get there a couple times a year. Next month, we're going to Vegas and I'm so excited (and saving up too).

I like to go to the casinos. We used to go for the day and spend $100, but now we go and spend the night and have at least two meals while we're there and it ends up costing $100 and that includes the gambling and the shuttle bus there. Not a whole lot else you can do for 24 hours on $100.

I really miss the online gambling though, used to play $10 a week and won a $3200 jackpot.

I love to gamble but you wont see me gambling away the rent money. I usually like to go to the casino once a year as a treat.

I also like to go alone. I hate having people hanging around me moping when they have lost all of thier money and are trying to bring me down or get cash from me. Totally annoying!

Yes, I am addicted to penny slot machines! I love the thrill of hitting the bonus. I never win much money but I have a good time. My husband and I went last Friday to a riverboat casino and I won $32 on a Kenny Rogers penny machine. We were laughing and having so much fun. That was a big win for me since I only put in two dollars. Now I love Kenny Rogers.

My DH and I usually hit the closest gambling town once a month. I consider it entertainment and a stress reliever. We gamble a planned amount, we enjoy the free stuff from the casino player's program, free food, free room, free slot play and cash. We have fun for a few hours, mostly we lose but ever so often we have a good day and it is twice as enjoyable. To go to a movie, with popcorn and drinks and dinner afterwards cost as much as a gambling excursion.

you bet  when I lived in NY I would drive over to Canada or gamble in Niagara Falls in NY, Now that I live in FL I'll go over to the Hard Rock in Tampa a couple of times a month.
But like others I only gamble what I can afford.

no gambling here. Went to Vegas a few times and won on the slots (few hundred) and lost it and felt terrible. Could feel the "fever" and not wanting to stop. Also, casinos are too noisy for me. Like to sweep in silence, just the nice clicking of my keys. Left a husband because he was a gambler and last bf turned into one too, maybe I attract them. new bf does not gamble, but loves that I am a sweeper (he knows where I am at nights)
