I hope it isn't too inappropriate to post this in this forum as it's own post!!
Firstly, I want to send a HUGE thank you to everyone that sent me a Christmas card and/or a $5 gift card this year! I know I haven't yet posted most of my individual "thank yous" but will work on that before the New Year comes...but hopefully will get some of that done tonight if I can get home at a decent time! As some of you may or may not know....my son lives with me only during the summers and the Christmas season so the holiday season is very special to me as it is a time for me to be with him! Of course, the holiday season also brings me LOTS of work to do at my job as I work in retail management. I will get around to posting though...I always do though it may not always be as fast as I would like it to be! LOL! I have gotten so many cards and gifts that it seems like they are everywhere! :)
It has really warmed my heart to receive SO much kindness from the OLSers here! I received so many various $5 gift cards that I am SURE that someone MUST have planned that! LOL! I want everyone to know that it has been a REAL pleasure of mine to host the WTA swaps so far this year and I certainly intend on continuing those so long as people are still interested in participating--it is really fun and is a great way to get to know and develop closer friendships with more of my fellow OLSers! It also gives me a fun way to give back to this online community that has given so much to me in return...be it friendships, fun or wins! I have developed some WONDERFUL friendships via OLS and had the great opportunity to further some of them this year at the 2007 Hershey Mini-Convention! I will be at the 2008 National Sweepstakes Convention in San Antonio and look forward to meeting even more of you there! I hope if you haven't already signed up and are able to that you will consider doing so!
Again...I cannot thank everyone here enough for their kindness! I will definitely be able to use all of those Walmart and Target gift cards I've received!! :) You guys are GREAT and it truly brings a "tingle to my heart!" I hope to get to know you more during 2008!!
