Oh my gosh! I thought I was the only one doing this! :laugh: I just spent an hour going through all of the posts writing down names of people who "might" be my buddy. There were 27 people on my list but I have only been able to cross daskds, Lissie and lainey00 off so far. I did not count the people who gave very vague clues like ones about visiting my state, etc.

Keep those clues coming everyone......this is fun! I am DETERMINED to figure out my buddy by the time I get my package. I DO have a star next to one name who is my top guess right now. Hopefully they will post more clues so I can make a more informed guess :yesyes:

Wow....more interesting clues have been posted -- a couple of the more recent ones have me really intrigued (not saying which ones though...LOL).

Well, I received my last item I ordered for my buddy in the mail today, so I am now ready to wrap and box up. I am sure it will be done sometime this week since I have the whole week off and I will probably mail a week from today.....at least that is the plan....unless while out shopping on black friday, I find something else for my buddy..... :smile9:

I have had a priority box make it across the country in 3 days, but also had one go one state over that took 5 days. Depends - and around the holidays it always takes longer.

Just an FYI, if you go online to print out the priority postage the delivery confirmation is free. And you can schedule postal pickup at the same time. Saving you a trip to the P.O.

I am from MI too & it is a shame that instead of accepting the news & trying to see how they can change things, the Police Chief is ranting on this morning about how this was so unfair & people are just trying to target Detroit. BTW St. Louis was the most dangerous city last year BUT they are not counting the metropolitan area. St. Louis City is seperate from St. Louis County.... We really aren't that bad. :grin3:

So today I wrapped up all my buddy's gifts today and packed them nicely in the box that they will be shipping in. Then, I noticed I still have a little more room at the top.

Here is another hint for my buddy.....I saw a little something cute for the "little one(s)" yesterday and I didn't buy it &/or them cause I wasn't sure the item(s) would fit. Now I realize the item(s) would fit...so I may be going back to the store soon....that should finish filling up my box pretty nicely. When it finally is sealed, it will be packed full and ready to be shipped to "Mom".

My buddy should know my identity by late next week as I am planning on sending the package out on Saturday. I just hope my buddy likes everything. :gift:

I just wanted to chime in and say that when I went to MI for the convention Motownmama took me on a grand tour of downtown Detroit and I thought it was a beautiful city! And so clean I could hardly believe it.

Of course I don't live there and don't know the real deal but I really loved Detroit when I was there.

Back to the swap thing. I think I am doing better figuring out hints for other people then myself though there was one hint from someone a few pages back that made me go hmm.

I am just about done, waiting for one more thing from Amazon and will ship pkg. out soon after Thanksgiving. My buddy lives far, far away from me.
