the location of the hotel really does not have a place within walking distance that is a good pub area.

Something like that would be found on Second Street in Harrisburg, which is about 30 minutes away. A nice view of the Susquehanna River as well.

I will call some of the local spots and see if they have any dart boards. I'm sure we can find you something, but you're going to have to do some drivin'.

Yanno with those hotels there and now the growth of Penn National's Casino in 2008, there really should be some kind of nice pub within walking distance.

Might be something down the road in Hershey which for me was a 20 minute drive. But I am lead-footed!!!

I'll give everyone a lesson in alcohol consumption...I'll start to practice on Monday, I'll be at the Ravens vs Bengals, look for Cappo and his clan. We will be the drunk ones decked out in Ravens gear.

As for the darts, if nothing is close then that is cool, just wanted to know how to pack. NOW, should I bring my gun?? I have a conceal carry permit!! I can wear a mask, and hold up all the big prize winners in the hall. No one would ever suspect it was me, unless they read this post, then I'm likely to get nabbed. I hope KB won't be in my cell.

Actually once the convention starts on Friday night it keeps going right through Sunday morning so there's really no spare time unless you come before the covention starts or after it is over.

There's no big lapses of time like at the nationals for touring during the weekend. We did that on purpose because of all of those traveling from far distances so that people wouldn't be stranded with nothing to do. Everyone should have received a copy of the schedule that is registered.

Still a couple of spots left and they should be going fairly quickly.

there's a nice one in Hershey itself called Penn Tavern, looks to be part of Penn Hotel and Sports Bar on Chocolate Ave. This is not within walking distance.
