Maple Fudge recipe??

Hey, does anyone have a tried and true maple fudge recipe I could have? Even one made with potatoes? I cant seem to find a good one for that or penuche. I bought a book called "Fudge", but its so not what i wanted. And last year I bout a book called C"andymaking and the recipe for easy penuche yields hard fudge. Yea, it melts in your mouth, but it crumbles when cut. I love the stuff I get in the candy stores in Newport but cant replicate it!! Any help? Thanks!

Try the internet "Search" type in "fudge". You may get a recipe there. Sounds yummy...My favorite Easter Egg is Maple and it's hard to find...of which I am happy about.:yum: :yum:

My mom used to make great penuche, but it was impossible to slice neatly...like you said, it crumbled to pieces.

I found a recipe (using a google.com search) that MIGHT work for you. I say MIGHT, because I haven't tried it. It uses marshmallow creme or fluff, so that might help make it easier to handle.

It's called Lunatic Penuche Fudge. Hmmm, maybe I'll have to try it myself. That website also has recipes using potato.
