Just wondering if anyone else heard-Her family is already making deals for the movie and book version of her ordeal. It's enough that her parent brought the drifters into there home and paid them pennies. Then to bad mouth the the congressman -when he should of been with his daughter the next day in seclusion(bonding as a family and celebrating) but was instead in front of the cameras.Now this. I'm happy she is back and well-but to have her parents this quick going for the $$$.:(

:( I hope this is not true. The family is a very wealthy family. I would think they would want to keep a low profile for the sake of the kids and try to let all of the media attention die down. What did the father say about the congressman? I did not hear. It seemed to me like the whole community did everything they could possibly do to find Elizabeth. This is a true miracle. It gives all the other families with missing loved ones hope. I hate to hear that anyone wants to profit off of this situation.

I saw on "The View" yesterday, that the Smarts were bombarded by offers for her story. Somebody will make alot of money telling Elizabeth's story, it may as well be Elizabeth!! She's the only one who knows what really happened!

:) I agree with you, Islandbeachnut. The Smart family should be the only people who make money off of this story. They have been through a terrible ordeal and nobody needs to make money except for them.
