Year Long Swap Year 2 Sign up ends Feb 28, 2007

Year 2 of the Year Long Swap will be slightly different from the first year. Please read the rules carefully before you sign up.

Rules:

Open to members of OLS in good standing. Non-Premium members may join. People with fewer than 500 posts may join if you have been a member of OLS for at least a year.

You will be assigned one buddy to send something to and one to receive from. You will keep your identity a secret until the last month you participate.

The sign up is for 3 months at a time. When you sign up, you are committing to the first three months of the swap. In order to be let out of the swap, you must send me a pm by the 15th of the third month asking to be removed. If you do not send a pm, you will automatically remain in the swap for the next three months. Failure to continue the swap at that point will result in your being badlisted.

You must commit to sending to your buddy once a month for each period you remain in the swap. Failure to send something to your buddy in any given month will result in your being badlisted. There will be no extensions in this swap so your packages and/or cards must be sent in a timely manner. Without delivery confirmation for packages, I will take the word of your buddy that something was not sent.

Posting about what you receive is a requirement for the swap. If you do not post, you will be removed from the swap.

There is no minimum value to this swap. As long as you send something nice you are fine. There is a MAXIMUM value of this swap: $5, with the exception of two months out of the year when there is no maximum. You get to choose which two months you want to spoil your buddy. You do not need to do the two months but some people like to send extras for birthdays and the holidays.

The exchange will begin in April 2007. You will receive your buddys' names and addresses by the Ides of March. The first three month period is for April, May and June of 2007.

You must also be willing to send and receive private messages.

This is basically my list from the Christmas Swap, which should give my buddy some info about me. :)

I'm a 23 year old Catholic girl, and I like Crosses, and religous items related to my faith.

I like Philosophy products, especially their body wash/shampoo/bubble bath in one. In any flavor, I like fruity scents. Oh, and Amazing Grace lotion. I love their lotion. My mom got me into it last year.

Actually, I like lotion in general, all brands. Rasberry is my favorite scent. I love body wash, all kinds, and body splash from Bath and Body works too and I can never have enough. The same with chapstick. I LOVE chapstick, but I always seem to misplace them . So yes, chapstick is welcome!

I collect witches. figurines, dolls, anything with witches. I keep them on a shelf year round. Not because I'm a witch , rather I just always dressed up as one for Halloween when I was little, and now I just collect them Oh, and, I also collect Nightmare Before Christmas items.

I like fabric headbands and cute bobby pins.

I go to school full time, majoring in English Lit. That takes up most of my time.

Oh yeah, did I mention I love to read? LOL. Lately I've been reading books that have been assigned, but I would like to do some light reading during winter break, like fun coffee table type books, astrology books (I'm a Leo), or Vampire/Witch folklore books.

I don't really eat candy or chocolate too much. Once in a long while...I always get a headache afterwards But I really like stride gum!

Starbucks is my number one stop during the cold weather season. Its the only time of the year when I go there to get something other than orange juice.

I enjoy items to make my room smell good. Like plug-ins, or anything I don't have to light (like a candle). I have a febreze scent stories machine, which I LOVE!

Oh, and I love to travel! I love Canada and I love going to Las Vegas!
