I have had to work day shift these past two weeks (yuckkkkkers) I am now back to my night shift and just starting to clean out PM's and go through email and my snail mail from the week - Please be patient while I play catch up

Due to posted popularity - if you receive something and want to acknowledge public - this is the Post to do it as people are subscribing to the thread and it's easy reference.

I have to be honest - it is tricky for my email & PM's to keep track of who wants a list

So I have to ask that you send a request to my email with subject as follows and below is how you will receive it back. My apologies but I am afraid I will miss someone if I can't "organize my brain" this way.

So what has been happening behind the email you ask?
I have been adding everyone into an excel spreadsheet - those of you who ask for the list
but don't have excel - please let me know at time of request so I can convert the most current info.

Other exciting news - I have several requests for random names to surprise - so keep an eye out. I would like to suggest that when you send surprises include the words "OLS Snail Mail Fun" when possible
When you receive something-
we can post it in the RAOK thread -or send PM -or whatever makes you smile

My trip is to Sedona beginning of April. It's a trip win! I hope it's warm enough to swim in the outdoor pool at the hotel. We're only there for 3 nights. Staying in Sedona area and will visit Grand Canyon one day. We are so excited!

I just got a package from blopatin (Barbara). I am so thrilled! First, she made a beautiful hand made card on her computer. On the front is a chipmunk with my name on it and inside is a very sweet note! I loved it. Then, she sent a big Hershey's Kiss (ate it so fast my head spun!) :laugh: and to top it off--she also sent a really sweet Ty beanie baby called Fairy Dust! I had never seen this one before. I love it. My daughter wants to take it away from me. I said...no way! It's right here now next to my computer to bring me luck! I will be on the lookout when I shop, I would love to buy some for people to spread the fairy dust luck!

I think this is the first year I am looking forward to sharing Valentine's with a lot of wonderful people .

I just spent the weekend with my niece and seven of her friends and hosted her birthday slumber party........... I am wiped out..........but I got some fun ideas from the girls.

It was perfect timing - I came home from work early due to a migraine from a yucky announcement at work today and Saw the Big Box with my name and hearts on it .

My dad was like What did you get?? he was just as excited to watch me open it and still amazed at how much this online group is such an extension of friendship in a wonderful way.

Well after opening the box (- dad showed me where the rip strip was - :laugh: )
in side was a wrapped package and card

I received a very sweet valentine card and a wonderful Special Dates book that holds cards
Vicky - you must have been peaking in my drawers - I bought one from the Company Current about 25 years ago - don't even know if they are still in business and it is tattered and full of my previous life dates (ex-DH & family) - LOL

This will totally be put to use starting tomorrow and get all the Brat family special dates into it. Although my mom opened it up and pointed I MUST put June 30th down for HER birthday - I said NO my birthday is First and MY Anniversary is July 1st....yours is December ....... we had a fun time with the "dates competition"

This was a total surprise and I am delighted by the thougtfulness you put into it

Today I received a wonderful surprise package from blopatin, who is my neighbor in the First State. I was so excited, I got a little misty. The package contained an adorable little Fairydust Beenie Baby, a heart shaped box of chocolates, a beautiful card and a bag of Valentine's candies including those fun little candies with the sayings on them. Today the mail man brought me two surprises that had me with goosebumps and my jaw dropped. My folks called me up to get my mail .................... they laugh on days I get more than them. They know what you all mean to me - and words will never show it enough.

Blopatin.................. Miss Barbara in DE I am in love with the FairyDust Ty Baby Bear you sent me.......... When I saw about these I was wondering how I would find me one and you beat me to having to hunt one down. The card with the roses is beautiful reminds me of vintage valentines and the heart box of chocolates...... I shared those with the folks.

I have been "hearted" plenty and I hope that the love continues all over the list.

We saw the lighthouse and I got a few pic's, but we saw it from a short distance, we didn't go in. I wanted to visit the Fountain of Youth, so we arrive get thhe kids in the strollers and go to the front desk, only to find that they accept cash only and I only carry like 10.00. I always use my credit cards. So we are going to go next time, my sister lives there. We did visit the shopping area downtown and had a wonderful time. The parks and the shopping area in an Old Town feeling with narrow streets and lots of steeples. Beautiful City with lots to see.

My hubby is in our home in Oklahoma AND I am SOOOOOOOOOOO Excited he will be here for three weeks March 27th - April 17th - as it's his time to do the spring cleaning on the folk's yard. For those that know about all my furbabies - we have already lined up the babysitter to ensure all seven are well taken care of........ okay - I will stop rambling.
I guess what I am saying is even when you don't know it - you are cheering up my folks as well - when they see me smiling and having fun.

Busymom sent me the absolute best candy/fruit treat I have ever eaten!!! Harry and David Chocolates bing cherry treats!!! Thank the gods she also sent a really neat valentine day canister of pez, I was able to give those to the kids as I ate in pure heaven my cherries!! YUMO! I don't know how many of you know of trolls, but I used to play with my moms old ones when I was a kid and today I have my own setting by my side to bring me many wins-You rock Busymom!!! Many heart filled thanks!

Kaiminani-what can i say!! She sent me the most beautiful plant in it's own container it was so sweet and it will get planted tommrow! This is a valentines day grow kit with the flowers of Aster in a really cute clay pot!! She also sent me a cell phone charm!! It was wrapped in a pretty purple bag. The charm has a beautiful blue glass heart and crystals hanging on it. My phone is styling!!! Thank you so much!!!
