Favorite Things Swap- Sign Up By 1/31

Okay guys, here it is! Sign ups start now and end January 31!


In this swap you will be sending your buddy either 2+ or 5+ of YOUR (not their) favorite things. There will be two groups. One group will be required to send a minimum of 2 of their favorite things. The other will be required to send at least 5. (I'm doing it this way to allow for those who are short on $$ to participate) There is no actual $ minimum but don't be afraid to spoil your buddy.





To join this swap PM me with the following:

***1. This decree: I promise to send my buddy nice items that are my personal favorite things. I will send my package on time without exception.

2.Your address (will only be shared with your buddy)

3.Which swap group you want to be in (2 or 5 item one)




Requirements for your package:
1.Packages must be mailed out by Wednesday Feb. 28.

2.Packages must have tracking numbers.

3.You must include a short note about why the items are your "favorite things." You may also want to include links and or information on some of your other favorite things that are not in the package (optional).


Who can join:
Any OLS member (do not have to be premium) 18 years of age or older and have been a member of OLS for at least 90 days with 100 posts.

Your favorite movie
Your favorite food/drink or recipe (Recipes do not count toward your 2 or 5 items, no homemade food please)
Your favorite bath and body item (lotion, body wash, etc)
Your favorite kitchen gadget
Your favorite cleaning tool
Your favorite decorative item (candles, etc)
Anything else that you looove and want to share with your buddy!
Get creative! What items do you use every day or a lot?




Please follow all rules carefully! Anyone not pming me their info will not find their name on the buddy list that will be posted on Feb. 1. Anyone not following the rules after the list is published will be added to the OLS Badlist! (Sorry to be so strict but I want to make this fun, fun, fun! :D ) If you have any questions let me know! Feel free to go ahead and start collecting your items ahead of time if you can!

Last rule: Please do not send your buddy your actual favorite thing (that you've used). LOL!

I received a wonderful box today from Nanjoyer(Janice) with her 5 favorite things

1. A beautiful striped tote bag-she wrote she loved tote bags and carried one everyday, I am so ready for this cold weather to be done, this tote bag reminds me of sunny beach weather :)

2. Air-wick scented oil warmer and refill Magnolia and cherry blossom(calming) can't wait to try, I love these things, I have them all over. :cool2:

3. A bottle of nature intent lavender vanilla lotion YUMMY

4. Mini flashlight, she stated she kept it in her nightstand, I could have used a mini flashlight tonight, on the way home from work, I ran over a piece of debris, that lodged itself under my car, so during rush hour on a busy street, I was on my hands and knees using a rolled up poster to dislodged it, after a few tense moments, I pulled it free.

5. 3 wonderful books, I am book lover, I can't wait'to get started.

Thank you to my wonderful swap buddy lvvegas.

I received my pkg from her and it was filled with yummy things.

Inside were the following items:

one pound of freshly ground Starbucks coffee, bold flavor, thanks I drink alot of coffee now.

A Starbucks travel tumbler that you decorate yourself, can never have enough of those.

Tea forte from vegas, citrus mint.

Burts Bees Chapstick inside the smallest paper grocery bag I have ever seen from Whole Foods, I haven't tried it before but will now.

Candy, Almond Roca and a heart shaped container of Ferrero Prestige, yummy!

A pair of warm thick socks, my feet will love these.

A notepad and pencil for my car.

A bottle of organic Dijon mustard, my friend makes wonderful tenderloins with dijon, need to get the recipe now.

A reusable shopping bag from Whole Foods market.

Last but not least a post card from her favorite vacation spot in Banff/Lake Louise in Alberta, Canada.

There is also a note explaining what everything is.
