Got my swap box today from my swap buddy TripletA. Everything is wrapped in Christmas paper. Haven't opened any of my gifts yet. I'm thinking about waiting and opening them on or around Christmas, if I can wait the long. I'll post again when I unwrap them.

I'm going shopping today to get a few more gifts for my swap buddy and I'm going to try to mail the box out in the next few days.

She stated in her post she was a swap virgin she had never participated in a swap, but she did a wonderful job, this is what I received, all wrapped in beautiful Christmas paper with ribbon curls and the packages were sprinkled with Christmas confetti.

A beautiful Christmas card and you may have realized I opened everything, yes I did and I felt so bad for opening everything, so I put everything in a Christmas gift bag, so I can place it under my tree, once I have put it up. But that was not all I received from Tangee43(Vickie). She was so kind and sent me also a birthday card and gift my birthday is December 26th and I rarely get a separate birthday card and gift, mostly combination Christmas and birthday gift. Yes I also opened the birthday gift and card, beautiful card: a dog and cat rubbing noses on the front cover. and First 50 Dates DVD w/Adam Sandler & Drew Barrymore I LOVE THIS MOVIE

Ok, here what I got: Three cool :cool2: Pez dispensers. (I love them all but I reindeer one the one I like the most.) A refill pack of Pez candy for my dispensers. (Eating them as I type this.) :munch: Christmas flower stickers. (These will look nice on my Christmas cards and letters.) a pretty lighthouse post card book, A set of cool Peanuts ornaments that have candy canes in them. (These will look nice on the tree once we get it up.) A small 2006 Mickey Mouse snow globe ( I couldn't get my scanner to take a good picture of it.) and a bag of my favorite M&M'S (peanut butter M&M'S.) Hope I didn't forget anything.

Yes, I did receive it today. Hubby was ACTUALLY IN THE MOOD to go shopping. We made the mistake of going to Toys R Us, the box was so nice to come home to.

Inspiringmind sent us a wonderful box that contained:

A Godiva Chocolate Bar-Which is now gone(I have no will power) :halo:
A Cucumber-Melon Bath & Body Works gift set in a Snowflake Mug-Hubby has claimed the mug already and I love the cucumber-melon scent.
A Set of Sports Ball Themed Ornaments which will look great on my son's tree
A snowman Picture Ornament that we are going to put our daughter's picture in for her tree

OMG!!!!!!! I got my holiday package from rcrosebud

First off...
1. I got two beautiful scarves. One purple and pink, the other goldish colored. We go camping a lot and love to rough it, so this was soooo wonderful!!! Bear is modelling the purple one for me..lol
2. I got a wonderful basket full of bath goodies. Why I do I suddenly feel like taking a bath?
3. I've got so many ornaments, I don't know how to begin!!
Dogs, cats, penguins, a snowman and penguin together. Sweetie, gosh, these are just too dog gone cute!
4. Stuff to hang out in my lighthouse room!!!! I love them! This is too much!
5. My favorite: Sugar free French Vanilla Coffee in the tin! I drool for this!!!
6. Diabetic socks. You cannot believe how much I need these. I walk around with no shoes or socks and I can see myself cutting my foot and needing it amputated... :worry: Alabama girls don't ever change. If it was up to me, I'd be barefoot and pregnant all the time.
7. A Friggin $20 gc to Petsmart!!!!! How come everytime Bear goes in there he never gets smarter? :sherlock:
8. 2 snowman figurines!!! These are too cute. :gvibes:
9. OMG, this was my favorite thing although I loved EVERYTHING!!!! A snowman fleece blanket. This was so thoughtful and wonderful.
10. A plaque that says Cats Leave Footprint on your heart... awwwwwwwww, they do, too!
11. A cat maibox thingie that filled with wonderful stamps!!! She even sent me winning wishes.
12. Last, I think, LOL Is this plaque that says.... Beware puppy kisses...

OMG!! I am sitting here in tears! Fed-ex just rang the doorbell (I was already in bed) and my son came into the bedroom and said it's for you and handed me the box. I thought it was something I ordered and couldn't read where it came from so I had to get out of bed and I saw it was from Meeeee (Valorie).

Valorie made me ornaments for my tree. BUT these are VERY special ornaments. She took the pictures I had posted earlier of all of my grandchildren and printed the pics out (or had them printed - great quality) and put them in the cutest ornaments picture frames! She even sent me an extra set of the pictures printed and these will go in my office at work.

I will post pics after Thursday of these hanging on my tree. I am taking Thursday off so I can get caught up on a few things and decorate the tree sitting in my living room.

Valorie nothing you could have sent to me would have meant as much as these do. I am very touched and I LOVE them.

ETA: Here is part of my pm to Valorie:

"OMG! Valorie I am truly touched. My grandchildren mean everything to me and for you to send me the ornaments with their pictures was the best!

I think that is everything. I wrapped up the dragon puzzle and statue to give to my son on Christmas but I will be sure to tell him who they came from! He is going to LOVE the statue!

I got 5 cute chicken kitchen towels, 2 pairs of red/white gloves, 2 bath fizzies-my kids claimed these along with the ghardelli chocolate and cheese straws! the lime straws are mine! really cute coasters and my absolute fave is a big wooden Nutcracker in a pilot's theme-I love it(I collect nutcrackers!) thanks for everything! :jump: :snowman: :4kb:

It's Christmas Weekend so I have OPENED OPENED OPENED my gifts yes thats right GIFTS

We had our Family Christmas on Friday night and I opened them last night

I received two Wonderful packages from Full Monte Carlo

A beautiful Blue Fenton Glass bell - that is just amazing to look at - the word pretty does not do it justice

The sweet comforting smell of cinnamon candy (at least my nose says it's candy-yum) that was so unique in that there is a candle in the jar AND in the lid - what an awesome way to make full use of the candle jar - my relatives were commenting that this is a great marketing tool and way not to waste the lid! They were like soooo envious of it

To my knowledge, there is one set of buddies who are sending their boxes next week (both had circumstances that prevented them from sending earlier), and purplemist's should be arriving any time now (according to the date her buddy sent hers). Other than that, I know of one person who received a sub-par box of items that included candy with an expiration date in 2005 - I am putting together a substitute box for that person. I think that's it. Anyone else? A couple of people posted their "thank you to my buddy" posts in the wishlist thread, and at least two (possibly three) have received their items but have not posted thank you's. :frown3:
