Now I've been suspended. Not that I've been selling/buying anything lately. BUT - someone has been listing things that had copyright infringement and now ebay suspended ME.
As soon as I saw all the listing confirmation emails, I sent ebay a note as well as changed my password, but they've still suspended me. I hope I can get it cleared up. I think it sux that they don't have a customer service phone number.

This happened to me this year too. All it took was a few minute on live chat to fix it.

I never realized people hijacked Ebay accounts other then to see if they could get some type of bank or CC info.
That really sucks. I hope you get it worked out soon. :gvibes:

They have very very sneaky ways to get you to reveal your password.
The only way they can get your account password is if you provided it somewhere. But most people don't even realize they did.
The big thing now is when you are surfing on ebay and looking at auctions. You see an auction you want to look at. Click on it and it instantly takes you to the fake ebay log in page"
It asks you to relog back in to view the auction. If you do relog back in , it still won't let you view the page.
That happened to me several months ago but I instantly realized what had happend and went and changed my password.
So it's just not the phishing emails you get, they are actually targeting people when you are ON ebay.

Ebay is such corrupt crap now, I wouldn't touch it with someone else's ten-foot pole. :worry:

Happened to me a couple of years ago. They caught it before I even knew. Hope you get it straightened out soon.
