Pop-ups!!

Does anyone have an opinion on what is the best thing to use to rid oneself of those annoying pop-ups?!! I can't believe how many I get!! :mad:

I Have AOL 8.0. A new feature in this controls pop-ups. So far, on this session, I have blocked 70 pop-ups, I LOVE IT.
I have found without pop-ups I rarely freeze when before, it caused me to freeze alot.

But what about the sweeps where the entry form is a pop-up?

And, on AOL - are you controlling one by one to get around the above?

I'd like to know how to block them too. I use Microsoft Internet Explorer, and it seems I get a ton of them. Thanks.

I use POW. It's a free pop-up killer. It's worked great for me.

I just started using one called AdZapper from Comet Cursor. So far so good.

I downloaded the free version of Pop-Up stopper at Panicware.com and so far it's been really great.

This progarm only works with Microsoft Internet Exployer.

After it's installed you can disable it by hitting the F12 key and enable it by hitting the F12 key again. To allow only one pop up at time hold down the Ctrl key when you click on something you know has a pop up.
