There is a later report on the web site that says this claim is "baseless." Dammit, wish they had got him. But, we'll see.

I just hope when they get him, they get him dead. Otherwise, it'll end up being a ten year long trial costing a billion dollars, he certainly won't get the death penalty, and as long as he spends more money on his lawyers than the govt does on theirs, it wouldn't surprise me if he walked (or at worst, spent a few years in one of those country club prisons).

If they don't have him NOW they can't be far off!

I mean, they surprised the #3 guy in his sleep and got to his cell phones, papers, computer(s), notebooks, phonebooks -- Al-Qaeda Library, in all likelihood.

Al-Qaeda's biggest problem is their size! If they were just a small little group (and they probably do try to run each operation in tight little groups) it would be easier for them to hide now. So I really think their weight will make them fall quite heavily.

If Osama isn't in their hands now, he can't be far from it. I doubt that he's shaking in his boots though, Megalomaniac that he his, he has a spectacular suicide planned for himself. His ego is so large he wants to carve himself in history as a Holy Martyr, and I'm betting he will accept nothing less. I don't think he could handle the "disgrace" of being taken alive.
