WHITEHORSE - A Yukon judge says Elvis can't come back into the territory's justice building– not without special permission.

Not only has he filed his own suits, but Tagish Elvis has represented others in court

The unusual court order bars Tagish Elvis Presley from filing any more frivolous lawsuits against the government.

The local singer legally changed his name to Elvis Presley several years ago, and has issued records under his name.

But Elvis has been a fixture at the Whitehorse courthouse, as well as the recording studio. He has sued just about every legal authority in the country, including police officers, lawyers, judges, the RCMP Complaints Commissioner, and even the Solicitor General of Canada.

Each time he claims damages in the millions of dollars.

Every one of his lawsuits has been thrown out, but Elvis keeps coming back with more.

A judge called Elvis a "serial litigant" and his court statements gibberish

Crown authorities have finally had enough.

Last week they asked for, and received a court order banning Presley from filing any more frivolous suits.

Supreme Court Justice Ted Richard says Presley's suits are a vexatious abuse of the court process.

He calls Elvis a "serial litigant", and says Presley's affidavits are mostly rambling gibberish.

And Justice Richard condemns Presley for making personal threats against Crown lawyers.

Elvis won't be allowed any more lawsuits against the government without a judge's approval, and until he's paid more than $10,000 in court costs, accumulated over the years of litigation.

Presley declined to argue his case in court last week.

Instead he countered with a $120 million suit against the Crown, before leaving the building.
