OK Guys I have compiled a list of 17 people (including myself) from MO and in the next month or so will PM everyone and see what we can get together.

My thoughts were that since we have a lot of east side, west side peeps and a few sprinkled elsewhere that possibly Columbia (yes I am from Columbia and am willing to go wherever but thought it was a central spot) would be a good place.

Look for a PM in the next few weeksish and we'll see what the core of us can get going and then we can post the dillio:)

What to do? Well, unless I'm the only one thinking of bringing kids, how about a park. Parks usually have a covered picnic area (just in case weather is not cooperating) .

Please let me know if none of you are bringing kids. I have a 3 year old and a 7 month old and it wouldn't be fun for daughter if she had nobody to play with where ever we decide to have this get together.

Kids are great - we have a fabulous park system and I know there were several members who were interested in bringing their children.

This park is pretty cool and large, lots of great things for kiddoes to play on. It is also VERY easy to find from I-70.

August 2 is when we are driving up from Dallas to Branson, so I'm not sure I can make it to Columbia by 2, but I'll sure try. I'll have my 4 year old grandson and 6 year old granddaughter with me if we make it on time. After a long car ride they could both use a place to let off some energy!

Yeah I was trying to figure out who all was going to come, if children were still coming, etc so we can narrow down exactly what we want to do. I just started calling them & I found one intown but didn't like the price so I stayed a few miles down the road (I-70) in Kingdom City. If that's the reason people aren't coming. we ate at The House Of Chow" which if I go to again I will probably have my son too (16yrs)
