I've noticed when the new sweepstakes are listed every day that the number of sweepstakes can change. Even a day or 2 later, the number of new sweepstakes is lower. Why is that?:confused:

That can be due to several things.
One, a mod or editor has made the choice to remove the sweep from the listings. That can be for many different reasons. If you have added that sweep to your mysweeps, it will remain in your mysweeps, but will be removed from the main site listing when this happens. I won't go into the reasons this choice might be made but it is always for a well supported and documented reason.
Two, it could have been a sweep that expired shortly after it was submitted. Once it is expired, it falls off from the sweep count for that days submissions.
Submissions are rarely removed from the forums but it does happen sometimes as well. Again, I won't go into the reasons but often there is a posted reason when this choice is made.
