I heard this on the radio this morning, and the dj was saying (disgustedly) that this was another case of someone not bothering to do their job ("Yeah, it'll be fine . . . we've had pyrotechnics here before a million times with no problem . . . ")
In the same conversation, another dj on the same station mentioned that wherever she goes, she always checks for the nearest exit and tells her family "If anything happens, that is where we will go." It just takes a few seconds, and, especially now, it seems like such a great safety precaution.
