They have finally posted new butter-up lines, none of mine are among them but check to see if your's might be and post so we all can submit our votes. The prize is CA$H something I don't think any of us would mind winning.

Good luck, all!!!

I don't think thats how the winners are chosen.

Marroni-
I don't think it's how the winner's are selected either. Especially, since there are 10 bi-weekly winners and only four submissions up for vote. It states that all winners will be selected by an independant judging organization.
I'm going with the theory that an over-whelming response of votes from our beloved membership might sway judging decisions in the event of a tie perhaps or at the very least it can't hurt.
Have a happy day!!

But I'm sure OLS members are up to the task!
Who can't use $500, or better yet...$10,000!!!;)
Good luck all! Today is the last day for week two entries, so get a few in each week for the best odds at a weekly prize.

Doesn't it just suck when you think you have got some great ones, and they aren't there? I submitted a few that I thought would maybe get on there... guess I'm not my worst critic LOL:D
I am humbled anyway (although I still think mine should have been there)...
EXAMPLE.. one I liked
"smooth creamy parkay, you tug at my heart, not at my bread"
(maybe they didn't get it, like how hard sticks of butter or margerine rip your bread)
humor me and tell me you liked it. I am going to submit it again...;)
(sheesh I am I cry for help or what)

I don't think the voting on this one is critical.
I think the judges will take all of the weekly entries and pick the weekly winners, so the voting thing won't really mean much other than bragging rights. Of course I'm not a judge, but I think Viperlily has a winner!;)
Submit unique ones... goofy, serious etc... and wait for your check. I'm thinking positive. There should be several winners from this witty bunch, and why not consider the 10k while we're at it!
Pace yourselves... several weeks ahead and money given out every week!;)

Here are the new Parkay Butter Up lines for this week:
Teacher, you stimulate my Im-margarine-nation!
To my heart you know the way, be my Valentine and serve Parkay
If I were toast, would you cover me?
My life is much butter now that you're in it.
Anybody from OS write any of these?
(Tartallini - is that 2nd one yours?.......sounds like a 1800 Flowers entry ripoff!)

Parkay has added "...voting is for buttery fun only and not involved in the actual judging process."
Thank you!;)

The $500 winning line from Round 1 has been posted:

I don't remember seeing that $500 winner "You are the sunshine of my knife" in any of the voting rounds, so obviously the "voting" process really DOESN'T matter!
Duh! :goofy: ....I think one the lines up for voting this week is mine:
It don't get any "butter" than this!
I'm pretty sure that's one of the ones I submitted before I actually started keeping track of my entries (this was QUITE a while ago!) Who knows....all these stupid "butter" lines are all running together in my head!

Round 2 $500 Winner posted:
"You sizzle my steak, you baste my roast, you frost my cake and butter my toast."

Anyone from OS?
This also might help those entering get a better feel for what the judges might be looking for in the entries!:)

No offense to the two winners so far but I've thought some of the weekly ones up for votes were a lot butter!

I think mines up there now... the "life without you one" first one ... too bad though, because it seems to be that the ones you can "vote" for never are the winners. Oh well, happy to have my line on there anyway. :D

My line is there. You are the the toast of the town!
Doesn't mean much but after writing 300 of them I am glad one made it up there.
