Prenatal pill advice

I need a good over the counter prenatal pill. I have been taking a multi vitamin but I need something geared towards baby development. I know there are many differant kinds so if you are using one or know of a good one please let me know.

i used some from walmart with my doctors blessing. they have a picture of a baby on teh front and only require you to take 1 a day (many over the counter prenates require 2 to 6 pills a day) i think they are baout $8 a bottle at walmart. Take them at night to minimize stomach upset

I am taking one now that is prescription. It's DuetDHA. It says the second pill is atleast 200 mg of DHA- an omega 3 fatty acid. The box says the prenatal vitamin has 1 mg of folic acid and 25 mg of vitamin B6, to help reduce nauseau (not in my lifetime lol) Dr said they help the brain growth and such. Poor kid needs it with my genes.

I took the Target brand while I was pregnant with my daughter. They seem to work great as she was born healthy and almost weighing 9 pounds!

I take the Target brand. They might make you really nauseaus. I know a lot of women stop taking them because they make them puke (which was odd because my old multi-vitamin i took before I got pregnant had almost the same amounts of stuff in them with a couple extra thing). They always made me puke, even if I took them before bed. If I took them before bed I would fall asleep for about half an hour then wake up running to the bathroom. The only way I could keep them down was if I ate something after I took it, so I always take them right before I eat dinner. If I forgot, then I'd make myself a Peanut Butter sandwich and take it with that. Even now, I take them since I'm still nursing, they'll make me sick if I don't eat enough food with them. I got sick the other day because I forgot and took it half an hour after a small dinner.

I was taking Nature Made but they made me really nauseous. I take Opti Nate now and it is wonderful.

My Ob doctor put me on a prescription Pre Natal Vitamin called Ultra Natalcare. They don't make me sick at all.
