They sure are cute. Too bad they are nearly extinct. I hope they are able to get some of them released to the wild again.

the article states they are extinct. there are two females they plan to crossbreed. but it is basically extinct. the last article on their efforts i just put up because of the cute pics. youre right. they are so cute. :gvibes:

Sometimes they declare an animal extinct and then discover them in some remote place. I know they declared a certain bird from Louisiana extinct and then a group set out to search the really remote areas and set up cameras. They did finally find proof the bird was still breeding in the wild. Maybe this will happen with this cute little rabbit. :gvibes:
