When I was first given this recipe years ago I thought, "No way you can make cookies without flour." But I was wrong and you can. Here's the recipe. They are surprisingly delicious.
1 cup sugar
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 egg
Mix well and form into small balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet, about 2 inches apart, and bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes or until light brown. You want them to still be soft when you take them out of the oven. Let them cool a bit and then remove them to a plate. Seems best I can recall it makes about 12-16 cookies.
For an extra treat: After you take them from the oven gently mash a Hershey kiss in the top of each one. Return to oven for one minute.

Oh YES!!! They remind me of the filling in Reese's peanut butter cups. They don't even need the kiss in the middle - I've never made them that way anyway.

SOOOOOOOOO YUMMMMMMYYYY!!!! :smile9:

My best friend and I used to make these all the time as kids. They were great! I haven't made them in years. Thanks for the recipe!

I used to make those as a kid and loved them. I also used to make some that had honey in them...

Yes, it's yummy - my nephews have celiac disease, which is why my mother in law started making them. We love them. Sometimes she throws in mini chocolate chips, too...
