I know i'm getting way ahead of myself but I was at Target today and I fell in love with the Amy Coe collection. She has this really cute Mod Peanut bedding that I so fell in love with!! And the best part it could work for either a boy or girl...Does anyone have her stuff, is it durable?? I just loved the bright colors

I'm looking through my Baby Bargains book (Which I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! It's really helpful at rating baby products and telling you what's good and what isn't so good. I don't use it so much as to save money, but more for their breakdowns and reviews of stuff. I did almost all of our baby shopping by it and have almost no purchase regrets. The few things I do regret wern't in the book or things I bought even though it said I wouldn't need them :worry: ). It says that the first Amy Coe line at Target was great but after a while people started saying the quality went downhill- sheets shrunk, bumper ties were too short, etc... They think maybe they switched manufacturers. It looks like the different style lines sometimes vary in quality and they suggest checking the reviews on Target.com.
I own one Amy Coe sheet that we've been using since Samantha was born- actually I bought two more on clearance at Target for $2.49 each but havn't opened them yet. It's a flannel one and I like it. I havn't really noticed shrinking on it and it's got elastic all the way around the sheet (which is a plus because it stays on better). It's been washed probably a dozen times and it's not all pilly and shabby looking. It doesn't feel as soft as it was new, but it's not all rough either. In my experience, it's the best sheet we own- we have Target brand and WalMart brand sheets as well and they suck IMO. After a few washes they started to get really hard to stretch onto the matress and one of them shrunk after the first wash! They still go on but not that well, it takes a lot of work to get it on!
Some people on the BB message board have complained about shrinking of their Amy Coe items, others love them. Here's the Baby Bargains board if you are interested in visiting it.a http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/dcboard.php?az=show_topics&forum=1. I highly reccomend the book. It's $18, and I think it's worth every penny. It also has a money back guarentee if you don't save at least $250 you can send it back and they'll refund your money!
Congratulations by the way!

I have bought a lot of crib sheets from her line and they are great!! Super soft and durable. So I would expect that the quality will be good. :)

I also recommend that Baby Bargains book. I too used it to look at their reviews and recommendations.
I love love love the Amy Coe flannel receiving blankets. They are the softest ones. Since Kaden was born in December, all we used were flannel blankets around the house and when we went out.
