I have a hickory smoked shank half that I am baking today. I bake mine in a paper grocery sack. Has anyone else ever done this? I don't know where I heard of it but have been doing it for years. It is yummy, no basting required. :smile9:

i've never done it, but that's how my mom used to roast a turkey. problem today is, none of the markets near me have the paper grocery bags any more.
