I hate when the cook on tv pronounces jalapeno, "halapeeno." It's "halapenyo." (not sure how to use the accent marks here.)

I once got a killer deal on a large amount of jalapeno peppers. When I got them home I was like great.....now WTF do I do with all these?

I googled pickled jalapeo peppers and my husband was a happy gas filled man for the rest of the year  I made a mix. Jalepenos, red pepper strips, carrot slices, cauliflower and onion. I ddon't eat pickled items but he said they were amazing :gvibes:

Kind of like when our son was three, and thought when we said 'Cheers' for a toast, we were really saying 'Up yours' - not something we ever said, we wondered where he came up with that?

Won't tell you what MY son said at three since this is a recipe thread but I will tell you it had something to do with "bow movements."
Now, to stay on topic, how 'bout those jap-a-leenos?? :smile9: :smile9: :smile9:
