Recalled: Hooded sweatshirts from J.C. Penney
WEDNESDAY, Mar. 15 (BabyCenter News) — Jordache is recalling about 30,000 of its U.S. Polo Association children's hooded sweatshirts in cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). The garments' hoods have a drawstring that poses a strangulation hazard to children.
The recalled fleece garments were sold in a variety of colors and have the words "U.S. Polo Assn." written on them. A sewn-in tag also says "U.S. Polo Assn." The style number for these garments is 12-5169.
J.C. Penney stores nationwide sold the sweatshirts from September 2005 through December 2005 for about $40. They were made in China.
