I just thought I'd share this for those to take into consideration when purchasing baby gear. We have a Fisher Price Aquarium Cradle Swing. About a week after use the mobile stopped working so I called them up and they sent us a new moter. I think it was a bum swing because shortly after that while waiting for the new one the music stopped and eventually the swing stopped swinging (luckly the same night the new one came).

Last night the motor sounded like it was struggling and today it stopped swinging. I called them up expecting to get some flack for getting a new motor last month. I told the woman that the mobile and music work but the swing wasn't even trying to swing and she was very polite. She apologized and said a new one will be shipped out right away!

They have great customer service and I would definetly consider them first for buying other baby products. I'm sure now it sounds like the swing sucks but it's been a life saver to us. We run it all the time and through the night when she is sleeping (she'll wake up screaming if she wakes up and feels alone because it's dark and she's not moving) so the motor really held up for a long time and was bound to crap out sooner or later.

That's great, that they didn't give you a hard time. My girls had that swing and we used it all the time.

They are great.. I bought my DD a Star Station Walkman thingy for Xmas. And after a few days the volume knob stopped working.. I seemed to have a loose connection or something. And you couldnt hear it..I called them Told them the situation. And informed them that i didnt think the store would take it back .. They are packaged in those plastic shells that you have to cut open.. ( And of course i threw that away ) Unfortunatly then didnt have any instock at the Warehouse so they sent my a Voucher for the full amont to buy a new one..

Great Customer service indeed..

I agree as well. When my son was younger he fell down on one of their toys and had to get stitches. It was entirely our fault but I called to let them know about the sharp point on this particular toy. After about 20 minutes of asking how my son was doing--which surprised me, they actually cared!--they asked if I wanted to return it and get a new toy at their expense but it was my son's favorite and we fixed the problem (filed down the point ourselves) so we kept it. They mailed us a new toy anyway. A couple years ago I was in Toys R Us and saw the same toy my son got hurt on, redesigned and back on the shelves--looking at the box they changed the colors around a bit and fixed that one sharp point. :gvibes:

So I was reading these posts and remembered my son had recieved a Read With Me DVD for Christmas. We have tried EVERY DAY (my son badgers us to do it lol)to program this controller and it totally won't work. So, I decided to check out their website and low and behold there is a section asking if you need help with the RWMDVD. They said my controller has a glitch in it and are sending me a new one. How cool is that. My son will be soooo excited.

So, I just got a knock at the door and seriously for a second there I thought it was HGTV, but it was DHL instead. It was the new Read with Me DVD controller. I signed up for it two days ago. That sure was fast and this one works!! My son is so happy. I just sent them an e mail. They really do have awesome customer service.
