Thanks for that post. I'm sending it to my daughter who left a tooth that she lost last night and a note stating that she had not left the tooth she lost the week before (which she lost). She woke up with $6.00 under her pillow and told me that the tooth fairy had ripped her off. He left $5 for the tooth attached to the note under her pillow and only $1 for the tooth mentioned in the note she left the tooth fairy.

 I wish I had your daughter's tooth fairy. All I would get was 2 quarters. Once in awhile if the tooth fairy felt generous I would get a dollar. We probally could guess each others ages by the amount of money the tooth fairy left us.

Funny, my tooth fairy used to leave disturbing notes under my pillow like "Nobody knows who your real father is" or "You're really a girl." I hated the tooth fairy.

I saw my nephew yesterday and he was so proud that he had received $3.00 for the tooth he left the previouse nite.

Although I am sure he still believes in the tooth fairy, he would completely understand receiving a letter like this as he has two older sisters that pick on him relentlessly! I wouldn't doubt that they have played some type of prank on him for every holiday.

The little guy needs a break... :(

As for when I was young... I used to get nickels and dimes and this was in the late 70's! That's what I get for having a mother that worked for a bank...lol!
