Just a quick thought...for those who are going to be watching TV on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day...we're gonna get tired of that predictable Dick Clark Ball Drop from Times Square + the rolling coverage, as the westerly time zones check in...
And New Year's Day will no doubt be a Bowl Game overdose.
TV Land is running an interesting feature.
On December 31st they'll be running the "last episodes" of many of their retro shows, from 6am until 5:30am. If you're a fan of the old programs (Gunsmoke, I Love Lucy, The Dick Van Dyke Show, Happy Days...etc. etc. etc.) then you might enjoy.
On January 1st they will air the "first" episodes of most of those same shows.
