What is up with that? I'm hoping it's just this month because someone at their Promo Agency forgot to send in the forms early enough. I would hate to think they are going to be void in FL from now on!! :worry:

Child.com sweeps have gone through so many odd changes lately - seems like there is something new every month. It's like there is a committee deciding how to run them! :laugh:

I hope, for the sake of you Floridians, that they do let you enter. :gvibes:

I've sent 'em an e-mail at support@child.com -- maybe if
a lot of us write in, they'll make sure to offer the sweeps
in Florida again.

I wrote to them also, how disappointing. I know Florida has some really strange requirements for sweeps but they were valid here before so hope they will be again.

I just wrote begging them to bring it back if it was an oversight!!! I'm dissapointed also :worry:

They emailed me back and said that they were glad that I was interested, not too worry, only void in FL this month cause of posting it in their magazine, they did not have room for the extra FL rules. She said they will be back for us next month!

The new rules, as I understand it, say that you CAN offer
abbreviated rules, as long as there is specific information
about where the entrant can read a copy of the complete
rules: like a web address, mailing address, or retail
location. A lot of TV-related sweeps had said they didn't
have time to run the full rules in their TV commercials
and that's why they were void in Florida; that's why I had
asked for clarification from the Dept. of Consumer Services.
