I'm entering a contest through Baccardi to win a trip to New Orleans. My boyfriend & I really wanted to go there, but it turns out we can't afford it. Kym - What is up with this contest? I can't even get into the top 10 anymore. Do you have a status on it? Did you ever hear back from Bacardi??

I don't know, Sherri. They took down the top ten list a week ago or so...so we don't know where my group stands as of now. Right before the list went down, the sweepstakesonline group had pulled ahead of me. A guy I know, Chris, heard back from someone who said that they were "investigating' the situation - that was right before the link was removed. I only ever emailed the webmaster (several times) and I never heard back from them.

Thanks for checking in - it's hard to say. I haven't completely lost hope, but I really doubt I'm going to take this one :(

Hope you enjoyed your holiday & didn't get too much snow. I was trapped at home yesterday - the wind and snow was just too treacherous to venture out in. I'll end up celebrating Xmas on Sunday instead.

You know Sherri, I did notice today that the sweepstakesonline site relisted their referral link as a "New Contest" again today - even though it started over a week ago. Their link still says "Win a trip to Mardi Gras" even though that isn't what you're entered for. I guess they haven't been disqualified yet.

Geez - sounds awfully fishy. I would pursue it. Sorry you got stuck on Xmas! We only got 1 1/2 inches. Not enough to go sledding! We are heading to the Poconos next week for a couple of days of R-n-R so we are happy that they got a lot of snow.
