I hope this is the right place to post this, forgive me if it's not. Our hard drive died and we've started anew. I have Explorer 5.0 on Windows 98 now.
I swear it's every 2 minutes (like clockwork), Explorer or my Internet connection goes into "sleep" mode for 15-30 seconds. It's maddening. I have no idea what's causing it (never happened before on the old drive).
You know those 2 montiors in your lower right hand corner of the screen that blip green back & forth? Well, those are the things that just freeze (don't glow green or blip) and then they start back up again like nothing's wrong.
Every 2 minutes!!! You want to see a grown woman have a meltdown? It's ruining my sweeps.
I'm thinking it's some kind of security protocol. Does anyone have a clue?
Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
