What kind of cat litter do you use? I have 3 cats <Kokie, Ritzi, Chuckie> and they are indoor only kittys. I have tried all cat litter thru the years and I settled on tidy cat crystal. But it seems lately to be very dusty. Lots of litter dust. Is there a litter that you know of thats not so dusty.

I think the ones that are cedar are not dusty

Feline Pine, The Healthy Cat Litter(TM) is the number one natural alternative to clay cat litter. Pelleted litter is made from compressed natural pine wood--no new trees were cut to make Feline Pine. Litter is a feline favorite and has no odor, no dust and no tracking--and it's flushable

I have 5 indoor kitties and 2 litter boxes and the only litter I've found so far to work for me is the Arm & Hammer Super Scoop. I have tried SO many brands and this is about the only one that keeps the 'pee clumps' from seperating and getting stinky. I volunteer at a cat shelter and we can only use regular non-scoopable litter since the litter boxes get dumped and sterilized daily. The Arm & Hammer has worked the best for me and I've found some great deals lately (Buy one get one free) at local grocery stores. I go through a lot of litter weekly and this one really keeps the odor down. I know my sister uses the feline pine for her 2 cats but that wouldn't work for me with the 5 cats. She loves it. About all you can do is try different brands and scents and see what works for you and your kitties.

Arm and Hammer Scoop away. It covers the smells plus the cat gets mad if I buy the cheaper stuff. Throws it all out in the dang floor.

Thank you Lisa03, I went out and bought the feline pine and I'll try it out. It looks and sounds good.I tried the clumping litter and then read that it wasn't good for the cats or people. The cats lick there paws and swallow some of the litter and it said it wasn't good for people to breath it in, so I got scared of that and went back cat littler, but this feline pine sounds perfect. Thank you everyone for your ideals.

I use the Arm & Hammer Super Scoop unscented. It clumps up very nicely, doesn't smell bad, and doesn't scent kitties feet with nasty perfume. The particles are so tiny and heavy (like sand), they don't really get stuck to paws, so I don't think much will get swallowed. The only catch is you can't dump the chunks in the toilet.

My picky boyfriend only likes to use safeway brand crystals. Less tracking, good odor control. We tried the pine kind-to me it smells like cat pee on wet wood--not pleasant. Scoop Away has the least tracking for a clumping type litter.

I love the Feline Pine, used it for years. They now have Feline Pine scoopable and I love it even more. I'll never switch back to clay. The cat loves to scoopable pine litter too, it's very soft.

We tried "Yesterday's News" which is little pellet like things made from newspaper. The cats didn't like it much and it was hard to see where it had been used so it wasn't easy to tell where to try and scoop. Tried mixing with scoopable littler and they used it a little better. Went back to the scoopable kind. Have heard the bad things scoopable too.

I have tried them all and must say Scoop Away plus crystals is by far the best. I've purchased some of the cheaper brands and they don't disguise orders too well. My cats take mean poops and this works excellent!

Arm and Hammer is first choice here for my babies... however, the local family dollar discount store has cat's pride for $2 per bag and it works almost as good - especially for half the price ... I sprinkle some cat deoderizer by arm and hammer in it for the smell.

Arm & Hammer Super Scoop is wonderful. No odors or dust. I find it on sale too. I use scoup away if they are out of Arm and Hammer. I tried the pine and the cats had a fit. I had "presents" next to the litter so back to A and H and no problem since.
