Mailwasher

Does anyone here have the Mailwasher program? I would like to have a little input before I download it, it is supposed to preview your emails and bounce back the junk. If it is as good as it sounds it sure would be helpful.

So far it only supports POP3 mail clients, though they are saying that support for MAPI mail (hotmail, yahoo, etc) services will come soon.

I get almost zero spam on my ISP's email...have never used it for any sweeping...so Mailwasher wouldn't do me any good.

I have hotmail and I am sick of the spam and porn, that is why I thought the Mailwasher might help....especially if I can bounce the porn right back at them. The website said it is supposed to be ready this month for hotmail and I would like to find out a little about it before I get it. As you can tell by my posts I am not the brightest light bulb in the house and know nothing about computers...I just don't want to download something that might cause me problems!

Would suggest simply using the Google search engine, query "mailwasher" or "mailwasher review" and see what various sources have to say about it. The CNET Downloads page always has a buncha user reviews of most of their software offerings. Couple folks there said it didn't work very well...but several others said it works great.
