I got a lot of small pillow cases that will not fit on a pillow. What can I do with these? They are so pretty with the little eyelet and lace edges. By the way they are all white.

Family Fun magazine had a neat idea for a Pillowcase Skirt (for little girls). My daughter and I made two of these this past spring....very easy and super cute. They would be darling with the pillowcases you described (eyelet / lace edging.)

Since your pillowcases are white, and possibly see-through, maybe you could use a cute solid-color or patterned material to sew on top, while still allowing the cute edging to show beneath.

You can always go buy stuffing for them...or fiberfill/polyfill at joann's or any fabric store. Stuff them and sew them up. Put buttons or snaps so you can refill and wash the covers rather than sew them up. If they are really small you can fill them with potpourri...just make sure it's not the oily kind....

Make them into a quilt or crazy quilt.
Make a doll or crib quilt or a pretty wall hanging.
Open them up, sew two or more together and make a small table cloth for a nice occasional table.
Make pretty placemats or a table runner.
Cut them length wise, edge them, and in the color scheme of your choice, embroider or applique your last name or initials onto it lenth wise (door pull) and hang it.
Make a nice heirloom Christmas sock.
Wrap a very special gift with one.
Use one to make small sachets.

Let your imagination run amuck!!

I have heard that some people use small pillowcases as little "sleeping bags" for newborn babies......that way they can't accidently pull the blanket up over their heads. Perhaps you could embelish them and give as baby shower gifts.
