Do you have to set Netscape as the default browser to download roboform and install it into netscape browser? I can't seem to make it go into netscape. It only wants to install itself into IE. Any tips? Thanks.

My problem now is that I need to make Netscape 6 my default browser w/ Windows ME.. And Roboform is not showing up in the top toolbar. I've been looking and looking. I had to cook dinner. but now I'm back to looking. Anyone have any shortcuts off hand. Sorry I'm such a pain in the neck with my computer lately.

Well I can't get my hypertext links to work with sweep in Netscape. I can't get roboform to get up to the top of the browser so I guess that's telling me to use Explorer still. Oh well..back to Explorer.. nevermind.. the above posts.

Sorry to hear that you're still wrestling with IE :( Other than repeating all the steps you've already taken the only advice I can find is to delete the temporary internet files through DOS. Windows doesn't clean up after itself as well as it thinks.

Assuming your temporary internet files are in the original location you would go to Start > Run > type [i]command[/] then type:
DELTREE /Y c:\windows\tempor~1\*.* in the DOS window. There's no safety net when deleting through DOS, but it really might help.

No it's okay, Marnie. I'm just experiencing with Netscape. I haven't had it in so long and it has many new and good features. It has a form filler. I don't need robo, but the hypertext links still will not work with sweep which means alot of copy and pasting. ug! I reinstalled it and it allowed it to make it the default browser but I'm not sure I really want it to be now. It's slow. But so is IE. I'm inclined to think something is up with my connection still. Do they have super DSL? I want that if they do. :)
Any how I just thought I'd see what's new with Netscape. I wouldn't mind a change of scenery. :grin5: Probably going back to IExplorer but I'll keep Netscape as an option. Thanks!
