It's not cold up here anymore, Tommy - 72 degrees, 82% humidity at 3 a.m. is pretty warm for early June. Quite a turnaround from when you were up here. :gvibes:

They act like the stamps are bags of crack these snailers are so addicted. Someone put a sign up "Digital camera, won at convention, trade for 400 stamps". 400 was 500 and they crossed it out. How freaking rude to win something and immediately put up a sign that they want to trade!

The conventions (I have been to 3) always have some lame (my personal opinion only) "celebrity." One year was some survivor show loser (I never watched it & could care less) & I can not even remember who it was last year. That shows how impressive they were!!! Yes, many snail mailers at the convention seem to enter just to sell the stuff. If you go to a convention, it will be the only time you see very few listening to the speakers. Everyone is busy, talking sweeps or filling out 3x5's. hardly anyone just sits & listens. I think the main thing I learned was that only 2% of online sweepers click on the rules!!! BUT!!! I didn't go to learn I went for the fun!

Xan was a blast until she gave up the ship. hee hee, sweeps-aku must be double jointed the way she danced (I hear) ,,,,and to that one guy that kept filling us up with cups of tequila, 1000 thanks darlin. I had a great time! Too bad I maxed out early two days later, but I done not be likin the Elvis dude, and by Sunday morning I couldn't walk anymore. Need to win a treadmill now and never drink again....uh huh.
