Yuk, I have heard him say some weird stuff but his book Where the RIGHT went WRONG is pretty interesting. Some conservatives beleive in fiscal responsibility, and not in preemptive war.

I find it disturbing that two political speakers have been hit by something in the past three days... What does this say about the people who don't agree with them? Pretty childish, if you ask me. :worry:

It was childish. But at least the student wasn't silencing his opinion entirely.

Excluding all those who want to ask real questions or might disagree with you is childish, especially when it is at TAXpayers expense. I agree the incident was stupid, but People who have no voice, and no legitimate recourse sometimes turn to screaming in protest and as anger and frustration build even throwing things.
Chroinic lying is childish, and bigotry is usually something not even children are allowed to get away with.
Was the item thrown at Buchanan by a 'liberal' or a neocon / reconstructionist/ Bush fan, due to anger at his book (severely criticising them)???? Silly either way.
"Stop the bigotry!" the demonstrator shouted cnn.com from above, guess it was a lib./student. Silly, naughty boy. He could have just yelled it, and then he would have been excorted out but no harm done, and likely no charges.

Speaking of bigotry, I love the way you have editorialized your post. You put liberal in quotes, as if that is your idea of fiction, but you don't use quotation marks for neocon / reconstructionist, as if that is the gospel truth. Whatever, a great example of your Burger King mentality.

The only people these politicans listen to is those with money. It doesn't make a difference if they're Republican or Democrat, the only thing they're worried about is legacy's and how much money someone is willing to pay to push legislation through. It's just sad. JMO :frown3:

Ann Coulter got a few tomatoes lobbed at her a few months back, as many will remember. That was perhaps just because she looked as if she needed her vegetables. A little salad dressing would have complimented them nicely.
It's a pretty harmless form of protest isn't it? A little slap-sticky Three Stooges pie-in-the face perhaps, but a time honored American tradition.
