Basically, I'm traveling through half the country. I left the west side of Texas yesterday and made it to LA. Since it was getting dark I was looking for a hotel and was told to go one more exit. As I tried to get in the left hand lane,(yes, blinker was on and nobody was behind me) I started moving into the left lane. A lady apparantly came up behind me and moved into the left lane faster than I did and our side mirrors hit each other. It sounded bad.
She stopped at the turn light. I stopped behind her. I asked if she was ok. She said yes and was already calling the police. In less than 30 seconds. LOL
Well, I walked around and checked her car. Her side mirror was hanging by wires. I checked my car. Only paint was knocked off the corner of the side mirror. Outside of that no damage.
I looked at her car again and realized why her mirror came off. It had been held by tape. All the noise was from her mirror hitting the side of her car. After she looked at the damage, she then said that it was really too late to just go on and we had to wait for the police. Must bbe a law here. That told me she realized there wasn't any real damage. Just more tape for hher mirror.
I would like to ask, whomever feels like it, please send protective vibes/prayers my way.
I will be doing much traveling this month and would feel safer knowing people did that.
I firmly believe everything happens for a reason, so I'm looking at the whole incident in a positive way. I was told by the cop to go back to the previous exit. It was in a safer part of town. That perhaps this was Big Daddy's way of keeping me safe.
The whole thing is bothering me and my stomach still feels unsettled. Like something still isn't right.
