Cat attacked.

My daughter's sweet little kitten got out today, and was attacked by a big dog. The dog's owner took her to the vet, and they think she has internal injuries. She's in a lot of pain, and will have X-rays. Please pray for her survival and health. Her name is Bama. Thanks everyone.

Please keep us posted. I hope little Bama makes it. I'm thankful the dog's owners are taking responsibility.

When my Midnight was a baby, he was attacked by the neighborhood marauder (a very large male cat) and nearly died. My bills on that were huge. He was attacked in our back yard while I was calling him. On another occasion, Piochi (the bad cat) got in, chased him into my bedroom and tried to attack him there. I foiled that attack thank goodness. Midders is fine now, though he has a big scar on his hip.

Sad news. My daughter sent me an email this morning, to say that Bama went into shock and died last night. :shocked3: They couldn't get her temperature up. They're going to have her cremated. My daughter says she doesn't know how they're going to live without her. I'm sure that another cat or kitten will come up to their door in no time, and maybe it will be the spirit of Bama. It's such a sad thing to happen. Jeni has always been a magnet for cats. :grouphug:

I'm so sorry about Bama. I'll say a little prayer that Jeni's heart mends quickly and she finds another kitty to love soon. :hugs:
