Ok, it may be long, I apologize.
I had a bilateral hernia in my stomach for YEARS. It was repaired but the asshole surgeon didn't use mesh and it ripped out again and got worse.

It was repaired AGAIN and the mesh ripped!!!
The third time was two years ago and it's holding.. so far...
Needless to say, I had three major abdominal surgeries in less than 13 months :worry:

Now, my back is killing me and my stomach muscles are very week. I mean my back is screaming in pain. It's also curved from years of the pressure.

We're in the process of switching health insurance at the begniing of the year to Humana. Not my choice, the company did it.

Here's my problem, I need to get somethign done to make it better. My stomach is extended, it is starting to stech out agian. However, excerise (crunches, etc) are NOT an opinion unless I want to rip out the whole mesh again. But there has to be something I can do

Has anyone been down this road? I'm in such pain. I am going to go get vicadin again but tha'ts not a long term solution.

Anyone know any really good doctors in Orlando or Daytona Beach area?

I can't take this pain much longer :worry:

I had a hernia 4 years ago. Mine was a groin kind that usually only 40 year old athletic men get. Wrong, I don't fit any of that criteria. My Dad has had 3 so they decided it was heriditary. I had some nerve damage from it so sometimes it hurts really bad. They gave me pain medicine for that. I was told not to lift anything heavy, scoot things with my feet, not to use a heavy vacuum cleaner, and other things like that. As for stomach, I have had some luck with a lower carb diet. Don't cut it too low or it can make you evil  and will make you feel like crap. As for dr. I found mine through asking my insurance company who was the best or hernia repairs. Then I asked people if they had heard of him. Sorry I can't be of more help.
