This may be the last year of MNF so enjoy. They spend $500 million a year on it and lose about $300. Ratings have been incredibly bad that ABC has told the NFL either they cut the price of they are going to drop it.
I love it but ratings have been horrible.. then again, they need some announcers that don't bore you to tears.

The tv show Joey, the spin off from Friends, actually beat MNF last week, for crying out loud...
The Pack vs Panthers and they lose to Joey, a complete idiot?

ABC has a problem with their booth (I love Madden and Michaels, but both have too much vanilla in their personality).


Personally, when Mike Kirkpatrick comes back, they should move those three from Sunday night football to MNF, they are good together and funny.

But, yeah, unfortunately if the NFL doesn't do something, MNF is doomed... and none of the other networks want to pick it up. What is bad is I believe the contract is up this year, and even with the really bad ratings and ABC losing over $300 million, the idiots at the NFL want MORE money.. they are fooling themselves this time.

The pack is getting pounded by the titans tonight :worry: Poor Favre is playing once again with other things on his mind, his BIL got killed a couple days ago on a four-wheeler, brings to mind last year when he had to play on MNF the day after his father died :frown3: That poor guy, what a trouper. :frown2: The titans are playing excellent tonight!
